📚 World Book Day at Cairde go Deo!

Today our little learners across the crèche had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day! Children explored their love of stories by reading some of their favourite books, sharing stories with friends, and getting creative by making their own personalised bookmarks. ✨

Some of our adventurous explorers even went on a Bear Hunt 🐻 as part of our storytelling fun! Along the way, the children talked about the different types of weather we might experience while searching for bears. To make the adventure even more exciting, we took off our shoes and socks and explored different textures with our feet — snow ❄️, rain ☔️, dry grass 🌱 and soil 😆

It was a day full of imagination, laughter, and learning. Through hands-on play and storytelling, children develop language skills, build confidence, learn to regulate emotions, and deepen their understanding of the world around them. 🌍📖

What a fantastic way to celebrate the magic of books!

The children at Cairde go Deo have been learning all about the changing leaves and the beautiful colours of autumn. They explored natural materials like leaves, twigs, and conkers to create artwork and take part in fun activities.
