Jupiter had now moved for its final dip into Pisces, where it will stay until the end of December before emerging fully into the sign of Aries.

This. Is. A. Potent. Time.

No, really. With the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio too we can really do into the stuff that is holding us back; the subconscious, the unconscious, the inherited, the felt but not processed.

This is a time of:
😢crying the tears that need to be cried.
🌊talking about the feelings that need talking about
🌬️ Letting go of what needs to be let go of.
🔥Transforming from the depths outward.
🌌connecting to the cosmos
🏵️Clearly ending a chapter.

All of this to prepare for the new.

It is hard.

I get it.

!ECLIPSE SEASON!! Into the watery depths of Scorpio we go. The partial solar eclipse tomorrow morning will be visible for Europe, but its fullest point over Russia.

Solar eclipses happen at the new moon and are coupled with a full moon lunar eclipse in the zodiacal season where the nodes of the moon line up, or are to a close orb. With our current nodal axis in Ta**us-Scorpio it is in those seasons we get the eclipses. And on a psycho-spiritual level it is those archetypes that are looking to be shaken up. The nodal axis of the moon points us to where in our emotional-physical-inherited-
embodied nature is looking to let go, and where our spiritual life is looking to reorient towards. However with the solar eclipse part of the eclipse series we can be drawn back into old tendencies.

Scorpio is inviting you to have the courage to go into unchartered waters, investigate the mystery of why emotional habits exists, explore where there is hunger and appetite for life, experience pleasure, sensation and ultimately discover who you are through intimacy.

In this fixed and rigid axis there is change coming. What is coming for you?

I feel strangely excited on this day of the Venus Cazimi, and the eve of the Sun's (& Venus') move into Scorpio.

I don't know about you, but the 'easeful-peaceful-well balanced' Libra season has not felt all that way. In fact I've felt more acutely aware of places in my life where a new balance is needed. But, perhaps without the motivation to do to much about it. Some easy things yes.( I got up a bit earlier, I did a little yoga, I was a nicer person.) I even did a medium hard thing. (I went down from 5 days to 4 days in my day job). But there is still work.

And now, I feel this sudden fire in my belly. I want to dig up the garden, I want to power hose the house, I want to burn the old accounts, I want to listen to the murmurs of the emotions suppressed and take them to tea. Can you feel that in some way?

Scorpio season is the time in the northern hemisphere where we head the fastest into the dark. With her fixed water she is going to expose the truth, she is passionate, she feels, she rages, she drive, and she transforms.

I have no planets in Scorpio, but boy to I admire this sign! To all you Scorpio babies out there I hope your know your power! It is all too easy to keep things nice and easy. But now... Scorpio season + Eclipse season + Uranus in Ta**us we got a recipe for some phoenixes to rise!!! Let's dive in!

Venus Cazimi! This is the point in Venus' cycle when it moves into the centre of the sun, marking the begining of a new Venus cycle. And this time we have the conjunction at 29 degrees Libra.

Venus brings us connection. It is all about that which is of value. This Cazimi shines a spotlight on that part of your chart where 29 degrees Libra is, and all it relates to in your chart. Whether love, relationship or deep to your soul's true values.

The full moon in Aries, Sun in Libra is approaching. Are you feeling it!!  The axis of self and other. All about relationships!!! How are you relating to others... What is coming up for you right now!!? What were you seeding at the new moon as an intention to bring balance, and how has that manifest... Or not?!

So there are going to be some changes this month to my full moon group, all inspired by the fabulous new moon meditation I held two weeks ago at Simon's Cove, Cork. 

I am going to move the meditation to a regular in-person + hybrid LIVE on Instagram for each full moon. Every new moon meditation will also be LIVE on Instagram also. Both meditations will stay on my feed on my page www.instagram.com/ellielatrobe if you are not able to make them in person or otherwise. Every moonth we will have a different location for those online to see the magic of Ireland. Should it be raining I will hold this group in my garden studio.

With the world speeding up at dizzying rates we need Mercury retrogrades more than ever. Around three times per year the planet of communication and the mind moves backward across the sky, reflecting a somewhat less easeful communication and use of the rational, analytical mind.

These phases, like right now, are perfect for:
⭐slowing down,
⭐using your intuitive mind
⭐ reflecting on how you communicate, and
⭐ reviewing how you use your mind.

Pushing ourselves to go faster in these times is going to be counter productive, we will find we have to do the thing again, and again. Where as taking a chill, putting the feet up, spending time in nature, being creative, dancing, making music, making love, finding connection is going to open up other parts of our brain and being less mercurial and more jupitarian! Make love don't sign contracts!

So you can see this as your astro-nod to put those feet up until the 1st October. 😉 To even the 13th if you want to be really careful and avoid the retro-shade phase too!

VIRGO SEASONS full moon: the practical mystic. The full moon builds to its fullest point at 11am Saturday morning Irish time. So for all you full moon gazers get out Friday and Saturday after sunset to see the moon rise and bask in the glory that this moonthly astronomical phenomenon brings us.

This is the peak of the lunar cycle that initiated with a hard Mars square to the Virgo new moon. This cycle of manifestation has required we put our drive and will into change or else be challenged by flames within ourselves or from external sources. This full moon brings Neptune into the mix, and what a time to dream! Pisces moon to Virgo Sun offers us a chance to dream the spiritual life into the physical, to make our body, home, existence on this planet more fit for our soul to live in.

This is a good time to dissolve boundaries and soften into your feeling nature, let go any tension, frustration of the last two weeks and dream the path forward to a better, more healthy, fulfilling, and perhaps simpler life. The mystic rectangular that sets up with the nodes at this full moon makes me feel that we are being further called to shake up our foundations, move forward to our north star, and let go of old habits... Shed; for us as individuals, and as a collective.

The lines in carved into Oxford 18-21 years ago are still there. The places walked, the conversations had, the parties partied, the thoughts connected, the knowledge grown in these places is also forever in my heart. When I arrived on Friday here I thought I'd left a bit of me her, bit actually it was just a piece of me I forgot about. I am so grateful to my husband, my friends, my colleagues and my teachers for this weekend to be possible. The Environmental Change Institute and the Zoology department will forever be an important part of my Life.

New moon tomorrow evening and a new cycle begins. Seeds are received and planted at this lunar phase. This is a time when body and mind can come together and we can 'know' things without having to 'think' about it.

Tomorrow the Moon follows the Sun into Virgo where they unite in the early degrees. The conjunction is all square to Mars. (Who has just commences it's epic quest in Gemini!) Virgo season is here. The time of harvest, where we reap that which we have shown. Like the gibbous moon waxing to become full, in Virgo we reach reach this fullness. The seed we sowed in Aries is very visible, and following the expression on Leo, we now see how we can improve things.

Virgo is mutable Earth, and as such looks to take things apart and keep only that which is really needed. This simplification process, the cleanse or the purification makes the physical 'better' in some way. This pragmatic sign organises physical life to be the vessel of our soul life. There is a real connection hear to dhama, and service, without seeking external validation.

How are you going to use this season? What needs improving? Can your physical health be improved in some way? Can you reorganise your routine to give space to nurture your soul life on some way?
