We had a lovely afternoon today welcoming MEP Maria Walsh and Kildare North TD Joe Neville TD a visit to the ACRE project.

They enjoyed a tour of ACRE and had the chance to meet some of our wonderful volunteers and groups, including the Celbridge Men’s and Women’s Sheds, the ACRE Gardening Club, and our Lawn Bowlers.

It was a great opportunity to share the amazing work, friendships, and sense of community that make ACRE Project such a special place. A big thank you to Maria, Joe and their team for taking the time to visit, chat with our members, and learn about all the work we do here at the ACRE Project.

Professional artists, socially engaged artists, and/or collectives practicing in any art form are encouraged to apply for a 10-month residency (September 2026 – June 2027). The ACRE Residency is funded by Kildare County Council Arts Service, as part of its Arts, Health and Wellbeing programme, with grant aid from the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Health Service Executive.
