We as teachers are so privileged to work in such a gorgeous village with an unbeatable community spirit. As I was passing through the other evening, whatever way the sun was shining, the beauty of the place just hit me! We are so lucky to have a vibrant Ballintubber Tidy Towns Committee which many of our students are members of and Ballintubber Development Association to enhance our surroundings. We look forward to working with all the community organisations in the next school year.

Active Week 2026 : Football, rugby, hip hop, hurling , soccer and sports day . Each day began with 'wake up ' 'shake up' led by 5th and 6th class, followed by a different activity each day . We all learned about keeping active and getting outdoors to maintain our physical and mental health. A huge thanks as always to our Parents Association and volunteers for their help on Sports Day and a special word of thanks to our past pupils who came back to school for a day to help 😀
