What a day!!!!RTÉ's Sinead Hussey spent a few fabulous hours in the sunshine with our little superstars today. The boys were by no means shy about chatting on camera and spoke about why and how they have made their "Weeds for Bees" signs. The boys in 2nd class who are making their First Communion made their First Confession today with school chaplain Fr Stephen Duffy. It was a lovely service which went very smoothly despite not being in the normal format due to Covid 19 restrictions. However despite the restrictions, which had to be observed, the boys made their first confession individually in readiness for their upcoming First Communion. Thank you to all involved including Fr Stephen and the school staff.

Our young environmentalists have created signs to encourage every family to leave a strip of grass uncut in their garden to support our pollinators. Signs available from the school for €5. First come first served!! Special thanks to our Artists, our 6th class carpenter Andrew Murray who made the signs and our environmental wizard Donnchadh Sheehan for his amazing knowledge on the subject.
