Best wishes to all Leaving Certificate students receiving their results tomorrow!
Reaching the end of secondary school is a major milestone, and whatever tomorrow brings, take a moment to be proud of how far you have come and to enjoy the occasion with your family and friends.
A set of results can help determine your next step, but it does not determine the person you will become. Life has a habit of opening doors we never knew were there.
If you get the results you hoped for then congratulations! Enjoy the moment and be proud of what you have achieved.
If things don’t go quite as planned, don’t lose heart. There are many different routes to the same destination, and sometimes the unexpected route turns out to be the better one.
If you’re still unsure about what comes next, that’s perfectly okay. Take your time, seek advice and try not to measure your journey against somebody else’s. Very few people have their whole future figured out at 17 or 18, even if it sometimes appears that way.
Tomorrow matters, but no exam result can measure your character, your potential or what you may go on to achieve.
