🎾🎨📚 A busy and brilliant day out for our Senior Room! 📚🎨🎾

Our Senior Room enjoyed a fantastic trip out today, beginning with a coached tennis lesson at Causeway Tennis Club with Shelly. The children had great fun developing their skills, trying new techniques and enjoying some time on the court. 🎾

We then headed to Market House to take in some fantastic artwork and enjoy a little inspiration from the local art scene. 🎨

To finish off our day, we visited the library, where the children had some quiet time to read, relax and enjoy their favourite books. 📖✨

📚✨ September Round-Up! ✨📚

What a busy and happy September we have had! Our classrooms have been full of learning, creativity, teamwork and lots of fun.

Junior Room –
The children have been exploring the theme of ‘Myself’ through Visual art,literacy, SPHE and wellbeing. Second Class children have also been learning about sea turtles and created some wonderful sea turtle projects. They have created some lovely work and were delighted to share their projects and learning with the Senior Room. 🎨🐢❤️

🏺 Senior Room
The Senior Room have been exploring the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians, learning about pharaohs, hieroglyphics and Egyptian life. They created some fantastic artwork, including pharaohs, hieroglyphics and jewellery. They also examined the use of levers in science and proudly presented their project work to the whole school. 📜

A wonderful start to the school year — lots of learning, lots of laughter and lots of fun! 🌟📚

Beginning of Year Mass

A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Philip for officiating our Beginning of Year Mass in school today. It was a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderful way for our school community to come together at the beginning of another school year. ❤️

We were delighted to be joined by members of our wider community and especially by our former Chairperson, Larry Hallahan, who gave an incredible 40 years of service to our Board of Management. 🌟

Our children were delighted to take part in the celebration and they were particularly delighted to be given a night off homework by Fr. Philip! 📚🙌

A special thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our Beginning of Year Mass so special.

💛 SNA Appreciation Day 💛

Today we celebrated our brilliant SNA, Caroline, and all that she does for our school community. 🌟

We are so incredibly lucky and grateful to have Caroline in our school. Her kindness, dedication and constant support makes a difference every single day. 💕

It was lovely to welcome some of our past pupils back to primary school today! 😊

They enjoyed catching up with friends and teachers, while sharing stories about life in secondary school and how they are getting on.

🌞☀️🌻♥️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐒! ♥️🌻☀️🌞

We enjoyed a fun-filled Sports Day packed with laughter, teamwork and friendly competition. Our school tour to Cuskinny was muddy but exhilarating and full of laughter, creating memories that will last a lifetime. ⚽🤾🧗‍♂️🛷🥚🥄🚌

The week concluded with a heart-warming Mass and Graduation Ceremony, celebrating our graduating pupils and their many achievements. We were also delighted to see the Roinn E hurling champions presented with their medals by Father Philip, a proud moment for all involved. Thanks to the Parents Association for providing the delicious refreshments. Wishing our graduates the very best for the future.🎓📜🥇

Adding to the celebrations, the girls in the Senior Room took it upon themselves to prepare a feast of delicious baked goods for the teachers - and enjoyed by the whole school! It was a fabulous surprise that was greatly appreciated by everyone. We were also blessed with beautiful sunshine, making it the perfect day to enjoy a homemade outdoor picnic together. 🧺🎂🥮🍰🍪

A huge well done to our pupils, staff and families for making it such a special week, and an amazing school year. It’s been a joy! 💙💛
