We are delighted to announce that our school will be travelling to Croke Park tomorrow for the National Return Awards, having been nominated as one of the winners! πŸŽ‰

There is an incredible €20,000 worth of prize funding up for grabs, and we are so proud to have reached this stage.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative by bringing in bottles and cans throughout the year. Your efforts have made this achievement possible, and we truly appreciate every contribution.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for a big win! 🀞 The prize money would allow us to make significant improvements and provide even more resources and opportunities for our autism classes.

Thank you again to our entire school community for getting behind this scheme. Wish us luck as we head to Croke Park tomorrow! πŸ€πŸ†

Hi, we are Caoimhe, Poppy, James and Martin. We are a group of Planning and Development Masters students from Queens University Belfast and as part of our Design in the Built Environment module, in collaboration with Donegal County Council, we have been tasked to create an urban design strategy for the Bridgend area. We are looking for local businesses or locals in the area to take part in our research to gain insight into what improvements are needed.

We would be grateful for as many responses as possible to our attached survey which is based around 4 key themes:
- Community/Social Infrastructure πŸ‘πŸ›
- Green space provision/improvement πŸƒ
- Public realm improvements 🚦
- Strategic Economic Development Opportunities Sites 🏬

Feel free to give further comments in the additional comments box - all feedback is welcome!

The survey will take less than 3 minutes to complete!

All information collected will be used solely for research purposes, and your responses will remain confidential and protected.

Check out the boys and girls from 4th class at their Irish Sign Language assembly last week. They put in such an effort every day to continue to learn ISL to communicate with their classmate Mikita. Thanks to the fantastic SNA Geraldine for all her hard work. Keep it up boys and girls 🀩

♻️ Bottle & Can Return Scheme – Thank You! ♻️

A huge thank you to all our parents, families and community members for the amazing number of bottles and cans donated so far. Your support has helped fundraise so much for our autism class and has paid for buses for trips, activities and plenty of resources. It’s helped our students take on real responsibility, build confidence and see the impact of working together for a great cause.

Please keep the donations coming β€” every single bottle and can is truly appreciated and makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our class and helping us continue this fantastic project πŸ’š
