Would it be too much of a dad joke to say that our overnight residential stay in Glendlaough hit the target for everyone?
We had a great trip, nice and relaxing, plenty of food, chat and laughs, a bit of wild swimming for those that wanted and squeezed in some archery before we left.

A new publication is available from the Irish Council for Civil Liberties - It is a Know Your Rights Guide for Trans and Non-Binary People.
The content is aimed mainly at adults but there is an under 18 section that looks at school, healthcare, bullying and use of names and pronouns (amongst others).
It's done in a question/answer style and many answers start with 'It depends' illustrating that most guidance is not based on legal requirements.
It's a useful booklet to refer to whether you are young person or a parent or interested adult and unsure of the reality of the 'cans and cannots' for trans and non binary people.
It can be viewed and downloaded from their website at the following linkhttps://www.iccl.ie/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/RIGHTS-GUIDE.pdf
