❤️A beautiful song for World Celebration Day, "Bella Ciao” translates from Italian as “Goodbye Beautiful.” It is the title of a historic Italian folk protest song that has become an international symbol of defiance against oppression❤️
The melody can be traced back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was originally sung by mondine (female workers) in the harsh, flooded rice paddies of Northern Italy to protest against grueling working conditions and poor treatment. Today it is sung as a universal hymn against injustice, inequality, and persecution.

What a great day at Wilmer Tennis Club yesterday for the Schools Competition! 🎾 Lots of fun, fantastic tennis, and plenty of smiles all round. Well done to everyone involved, especially Dermot Sheils!

🫧✨ Bubble Workshop Fun! ✨🫧

Our pupils from Junior Infants to 6th Class had great fun today at a Bubble Workshop. They were amazed by the bubble tricks and loved getting involved in the activities themselves! 😃🫧

A fun-filled day with lots of smiles, laughter and giant bubbles! 💙
