Well, here’s el resultado final🥸 Some nice taches here and some that will surely fill out over the next year or two (not naming any names). Thank you so much for all the the generous donations for a really good cause, and everyone who participated in move for Movember🥰 Remember lads to check your balls, and maybe check in on your mates that you haven’t seen in college in a while! A head has been shaved and tattoo bookings have been made 😵‍💫🥶🫡

Huge progress from the MoBros over the week. Surely David Furrelly is an absolute banker 🥸. Despite this Liamo looks favorite to win the Ginger h’Or. John’s had a bit of a mare and shaved off half the tache but can we blame him when he’s so focused on the maths assignment due on the 17th Nov(?). Connor Dunnes odds looking a bit overpriced at the moment but we think he’s trimming it to give the 4th years a chance. Donations are still very welcome and can be done through the link in our bio🫡

On Friday, 30 October, the Actuarial & Financial Society held its annual Hannover Re Charity Quiz via Zoom. Our chosen charity this year is Jigsaw, a youth mental health charity and a cause we feel is especially important given the loneliness and isolation facing many young people due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There were 26 teams, five rounds of questions and a raffle featuring a Fitbit, Google Home, Ugg slippers and a coveted set of golden Actuarial Tables! The first-place winners opted to donate their €200 of prize money to Jigsaw as did the third-place winners with their €80 prize. In total, €1,900 was raised in aid of Jigsaw (€280 donated by winners, €620 from students’ donations, and a further €1,000 donated by the Actuarial & Financial Society). We are delighted with the success of the virtual event!
