🎉 A Wonderful End to the School Year at St. Aidan’s N.S., Bawnboy! 🎉
What a fantastic way to finish the school year before the summer holidays!
Last week, our school community came together to celebrate two very special occasions – the official opening of our brand-new playground and the graduation of our wonderful Sixth Class pupils. It was a memorable day filled with pride, celebration and excitement.
A huge congratulations to our Sixth Class pupils as they begin an exciting new chapter. We wish each and every one of them every success and happiness in secondary school and beyond. They will always be a valued part of the St. Aidan’s N.S. family.
This playground has been a true community effort. Together, we raised an incredible €20,817, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed in any way. Thank you to our parents, pupils, Board of Management, Parents’ Association, staff, local businesses, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who supported our fundraising events or made a donation. Your generosity has created a lasting legacy that will be enjoyed by the children of St. Aidan’s for many years to come.
A special word of thanks to Mary Fitzpatrick for officially opening the playground, Gareth Maguire for joining us as our special guest, Fr. Sean Maguire for his blessing, and to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special! 🙏
We were also delighted to see our celebrations featured in The Anglo-Celt this week.
