Ballymoe Community Playschool was set up in September 2002. The playschool notified the HSE and we are inspected annually. We cater for Children aged from 2 years & 10 months up to national school age children.The playschool is approved under the free pre school year for children scheme (Early Childhood Care & Education Scheme).This scheme caters for children aged between 3 years & 3 months and 4
years & 6 months on September 1st 2013.We run 1 session a day monday to Friday (9:30 am- 12:30 pm) and can accomodate a maxium of 20 children. Currently the playschool has 2 members of staff.The playschool is run by a team of parent volunteers- the childcare committee. We believe in the importance of play as a valuable learning tool for young children & we aim to provide a safe,caring & enjoyable envirnment,which promotes & provides for all areas of a child's development.
