Certified Irish Angus Beef Success: We would like to extend a huge congratulations to our TY students : Amy Higgins, Peter O Neill, Cormac Delaney, Oisin Colleran & their teacher Ms. Kelly on their fantastic achievement of succeeding in the National Virtual Croke Park event that is "The Certified Irish Angus Beef Competition 2021".
From over 100 schools nationwide they have been selected to be 1 of 6 schools as finalists for the Certified Irish Angus Beef Competition 2021. They will now receive 5 Irish Angus calves, a trip to Europe and various visits to the sponsors facilities. They will receive the calves in September and rear them until 2 years. An overall prize will then go to the school for rearing and finishing the best Certified Irish Angus Beef Cattle. We are extremely proud of them and we wish them every success as they progress to the next stage of the competition"
