Thank you for all of the texts, Wats apps and messages enquiring about the furniture we have for sale. I hope I have replied to everyone. We cannot let any of our furniture go until 3rd June after we have closed as our Leaving Cert students need to use the place as it always has been on the run up to their exams. We don't want a page out of place to distract or throw then during such a stressful time because closing or not this group are still our main priority so we hope you understand. Below is a price list of the items most enquired about:

Computer desks 90x90 in size 50 tables available - €50 per table
Whiteboards (large) 1•8x1•2 in size 5 available - €60 per board
Fabric stackable chairs 55 in total €20 per chair
Lockable storage unit wooden
Circular table with 4 black chairs - €150 ( table on its own €100)
Large notice boards 7 in total- €60 each

After 7 incredible years, the Study Centre will close its doors for the final time on June 2nd.

This decision hasn’t come easily. Over these years, I’ve grown not only the Centre but also myself, progressing through my own education, and I’m now in the final stages of my PhD. Alongside this, I’ve been working full-time in post-primary education, the prison service, and as an education coordinator within the community. At this point, continuing to balance all of that with lecturing in Maynooth and running the Study Centre is no longer possible. It’s time to close this chapter so I can fully step into the next.

The Study Centre has been far more than just a place to study, it’s been a second home. A space filled with laughter, chats, and a lot of life. Students have gone through more cups of tea, coffee, and biscuits here than they probably ever will again. The kitchen has seen endless laughter, messing, plenty of slagging, competitive dart matches, and more than a few battles over the brown leather couch.

To every student who walked through the door, thank you. Thank you for the fun, the conversations, and the memories. The years have flown, and I am genuinely a better person for having known you all.

For our final group of Leaving Cert students, we’ll go right up to the eve of the exams and, as always, we’ll finish with pizza night to send you off properly. Finishing with an amazing group who have made the final year a happy time fun of laughter and jokes!!

While this chapter is ending, I’ll always carry the memories with me.
