A huge thank you to the CCCDA for sponsoring our new basketball jerseys and to Fiona Foley for organising it all 👏 We were delighted to welcome Micheal and Mary from the Churchtown Castlemitchell Community Development Association to present the new jerseys to the children 😀 we have been so lucky this year to have new football jerseys sponsored by Lorraine and Anthony Morrin of Ballyroe Engineering and now our new basketball jerseys 🏀 ⚽️ Thank you so much! We look forward to wearing them in Sept 🙌

we had our Sports Day this morning followed by ice-cream from Mrs Rice! Thank you Mrs Rice 😍 and thank you to our 6th class and Ms Wall for organising 👏Our fantastic Parents' Association funded new badminton nets which went down a treat today! We also 'rang the bell' one last time for our wonderful 6th class before their Graduation tomorrow 🫶🙌

Churchtown's Got Talent 2026 🤩🤩🤩 Well done to all our performers today for putting on a great display of talent , especially our infants! We had singers, magicians, musicians, artists and dancers galore 🙌👏🫶

Another busy day today for . The senior room had their basketball blitz 🏀 and the middle room enjoyed some relaxing yoga 🧘‍♀️ We also presented Fr. Hannon with a gift from the school to mark the Diamond Jubilee anniversary of his ordination 👏🙌 Congratulations Fr. We had our annual GAA day today as part of 😎 Well done to all the staff for organising the event and especially to Fiona Foley👏 We are always delighted to welcome back past pupils: Jane, Leah, Jessica, Eva and Robert, who were on hand to help out, thank you all so much. Special shout out to Colm, Ronan and Kate past pupils and county players who gave the children a great insight into their training schedules and did some drills! Best of luck to St Vincent's u14's team and management who are playing St Laurence's in the u14's league final tomorrow night in Castlemitchell at 8pm.We are also hosting the final between Maynooth and Naas at 6.30pm.

The Junior room are learning all about famous bridges in STEM. They are learning about the importance of balance and strength in materials. They had great fun designing and building their own bridges and testing them out . We also celebrated a very special birthday this week too 😍
