Job description
We are currently looking to hire a full time (40hours per week) childcare practitioner in a busy preschool and afterschool service in our Athlone centre.

Duties:

– In line with the Aistear Curriculum, plan and implement an age appropriate curriculum, based on children’s interests

– Document children’s learning and progress using iPad technology

– Comply with the Policies and Procedures of our service

– Ensure the safety and well being of the children in our service

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Preferably Level 6 where candidate is seeking to progress to Level 7/8

– Excellent interpersonal skills

– Must be fluent in spoken and written English

– Be familiar with Early Years Regulations and Siolta and Aistear frameworks

Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.

Expirence with Tusla and DES inspections

The candidate would preferably have up to date training in First Aid Training, Child Protection, Manual Handling, full drivers licence and good I.T. skills

We are now taking names for our Easter camp 🐣

This is a fun filled week with Easter baking, Arts and crafts and lots of game's, aswell as our Easter egg hunt 🐰
