We had a lovely visit from some of our former pupils today who were on the victorious Syddan under 14 team this week. They were joined by three of our sixth class boys who are also on the team. They spoke about their win and their love of sport. It's always nice to welcome back past pupils and to celebrate local success. They even brought some treats for the kids! Thank you boys and well done!

Move To Improve sessions continue every Monday. The children had great fun on Monday morning throwing and kicking balls at targets and working together as teams in relays. Thank you to our P.A. for providing these sessions for the children.

A big well done to our Gaelic football team who are through to the semi-finals of their Cumann na mBunscol division. They won two and drew one of their three league phase matches. Thank you to Mrs McComish and our parent volunteer, Cathy, for looking after the team.

🔬👟 Science Investigation in Miss Martin’s 3rd & 4th Class! 📏

Today, we put a scientific question to the test: Does your height have any connection to your shoe size? 🤔

The children worked together to measure their height and shoe size, recorded their results and investigated whether there was a pattern or relationship between the two. 📊👟

Lots of measuring, predicting, comparing and, of course, plenty of interesting results! 🧪✨

Well done, 3rd & 4th Class! 👏

A group of our sixth class children have been working on a procedural writing project. They designed a poster for a pizza shop, researched different pizza styles, designed their own pizzas and finally got to make the pizzas today using Mr McGuinness's pizza oven. Bon appétit!! 🍕🍕🍕
