Take a glimpse of Balinese culture through a Kecak dance. It’s a Balinese Hindu dance-drama where the hero fights the evil king. It’s one of the best things to do Uluwatu, too. Performances are usually done at the Uluwatu Temple at 6 PM, so don’t you miss it.

Uluwatu Beach is one of the best beaches in Bali, Indonesia. Unlike many beaches, it only operates on low tide, and there are no bars or restaurants by the beach. There are, however, sea caves, rocks, and cliffs, which gives you shade and a spot to chill. Its serenity and vibe, plus the sunset, make it one of my favorites in Bali!

Located on top of a cliff is the Uluwatu Temple or Pura Luhur Uluwatu. It’s a Balinese Hindu Sea Temple that is believed to protect the island against evil. There are also Macaques inhabiting there, so don’t forget to protect your things as they might steal them!

As I have said in the introduction, the waves here are powerful and a bit dangerous, so if you are not an expert surfer, you could see others from the view. It’s really cool and thrilling to see people riding waves, sometimes, it kind of motivates you to learn. If you want to know the basics to experience surfing these enormous waves, try visiting Kuta or Seminyak in Bali!
