Ada satu kesamaan dari para guru hebat: mereka tidak pernah berhenti belajar, meskipun tantangan pendidikan terus berubah.

Pada 9 Mei 2026 lalu, ratusan guru dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia berkumpul secara online dalam Sesi 1 BPG Fase 2 Tahun 2026 dengan tema Entrepreneurial Mindset & Problem Framing.

Sesi ini menghadirkan Ibu Dessy Aliandrina, Ph.D, Founder & Executive Director Sociopreneur Indonesia, sebagai narasumber utama yang membagikan perspektif tentang pentingnya membangun pola pikir entrepreneurial dalam dunia pendidikan.

Sesi ini bukan sekadar pelatihan. Ini adalah ruang belajar bersama untuk melihat bagaimana guru dapat:
• memahami tantangan di sekolah secara lebih kritis,
• mengubah masalah menjadi peluang pembelajaran,
• serta membangun inovasi yang relevan bagi siswa dan lingkungan sekitar.

Melalui diskusi, refleksi, dan praktik sederhana, para peserta mulai membangun entrepreneurial mindset, sebuah pola pikir yang mendorong keberanian untuk mencoba, beradaptasi, dan menciptakan solusi.

Karena pendidikan masa depan membutuhkan guru yang tidak hanya mengajar, tetapi juga mampu menjadi problem solver, innovator, dan agen perubahan di sekolahnya masing-masing.

Reflecting on the Teachers’ Training Program 2025

As we reflect on the Teachers’ Training Program 2025, one fundamental question guided our work: How do we support teachers not just as workers, but as whole human beings?

Our answer was clear—support must be dual-tracked. Improving outcomes requires nurturing the source. By strengthening entrepreneurial, digital, and financial competencies, we witnessed educators reclaim their professional dignity, autonomy, and agency, becoming true architects of learning.

This journey reaffirmed that education reform is ultimately about human flourishing. When teachers are empowered to thrive as purpose-driven leaders, they model the same sense of possibility for their students. Restoring agency to teachers is not an abstract ideal—it is a practical pathway to more relevant, humane, and resilient education systems.

Yet reflection also brings hard truths. Training can transform individuals, but sustainability demands a village. Scaling impact requires moving beyond individual empowerment toward ecosystem-level support, partnerships, and shared responsibility.

To our partners—thank you for trusting this vision. To our volunteer facilitators and nearly 500 teachers across Indonesia: you are living proof that investing in teachers means investing in the architects of our future.

Transformation does not happen on paper. It takes root in classrooms, schools, and communities—through educators who quietly reshape what learning can become. As we prepare for the next phase of scaling, the door remains open for collaboration.

Since 2022, under the Global South Learning Ecosystem Program, a multidisciplinary research team has examined how learning ecosystems are designed, governed, and sustained across the Global South. By analyzing more than 100 education initiatives in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, the study identified 11 standout initiatives in 9 countries—demonstrating how ecosystem-based approaches can drive meaningful, context-rooted education change. One of these initiatives is Sociopreneur Indonesia.

Published in December 2025, the findings reveal a clear insight: locally grounded learning ecosystems are helping children and young people thrive. The remaining challenge is equally clear—how can these innovations connect with one another, learn collectively, and scale their impact across regions?

Welcoming 2026

Sociopreneur Indonesia (SociopreneurID) reflects the year 2025 shaped not by a single milestone, but by consistent, purpose-driven action.

Throughout the year, we worked with educators to translate entrepreneurship and sustainability into classroom practice, listened to children and young teens through Letter For You 2025, and connected educators and changemakers across borders at GEEM 2025. Together, these efforts point to one clear insight: meaningful change happens when education moves from discussion to implementation, which was grounded in care, evidence, and collaboration.

To document this journey, we are pleased to share Weaver Magazine – Special Edition (December 2025). This edition captures key lessons from GEEM 2025, reflections from our Teachers Training Program (Collaborate with Ishk Tolaram Foundation and Teach A Man To Fish), selected youth voices from Letter For You 2025, and a report update about the Global South Learning Ecosystems (GSLE) study from Learning Planet Institute.

As we step into 2026, we do so with renewed commitment: strengthening collaboration, scaling what works, and continuing to build education systems connected by purpose.
