HighScope Indonesia believes that a school is a learning organization.

It involves everyone in the system - students, parents, educators, community, government, and business.

Today’s ecological challenges are the result of human choices—and so are the solutions.

By building sustainability awareness, students grow into future-ready citizens who campaign for change and solve real-world problems, understanding how their actions impact both others and the planet.

Through education that nurtures empathy, critical thinking, and sustainable living, we empower children to make thoughtful choices and take meaningful action for the future.

Because shaping a better world begins with how we learn today—this is our commitment to future-ready education. 🌏✨

“There’s a form of bias built into these systems. This reminds us why it’s essential to understand what the model is predicting, what it’s learning from, and how those patterns influence the way we think, teach, and lead.” - Kenneth Shelton, Educational Technology Expert and Apple Distinguished Educator

Day 2 of the Redea International Conference 2025 highlighted sessions by Kenneth Shelton on reimagining learning with AI and Bryan Goodwin on building democratic classrooms that nurture curiosity and critical thinking.

Today also features Learning Heroes — a special session where selected teachers from across our school network share their classroom strategies and insights from Early Childhood to High School.

The conference concluded with an uplifting Motivational Session by Ryan Adriandhy, who took us on a heartfelt journey through stories of us, our children, and the children within us. Filled with laughter, connection, and reflection—a perfect reminder of why we do what we do as educators.

“No matter how advanced generative AI becomes, it is a tool — not the answer. From the Covid-19 pandemic, we learned an important lesson: teachers cannot be replaced. Technology may change, but great teachers endure.” — Dr. John Almarode, Tenured Professor at James Madison University

Day 1 of the Redea International Conference 2025 officially kicked off — and fittingly coincided with Hari Batik Nasional. Participants and speakers filled the venue in their finest batik, setting the tone for a day of vibrant learning and collaboration.

In her opening speech, Ibu Antarina reminded everyone of Redea’s enduring purpose: “May this conference inspire all of us — educators — to keep doing what we do best: to learn, to teach, and to innovate with wisdom, integrity, and sincerity.”

This year also marks our first-ever . All participants and guests proudly brought their own tumblers and containers, while the conference merchandise reflected a deep commitment to sustainability — from recycled banner tote bags and bamboo pens to ID cards made of seed paper that can grow into plants.

At yesterday’s Pre-Conference Sessions, we began with two insightful talks for our school leaders.

The first session, led by Jacky Mussry, CEO of MarkPlus, Inc., focused on strategies for aligning organizational vision with stakeholder expectations through effective, real-world communication. He emphasized the importance of clear value propositions and closing expectation gaps to build stronger, more consistent engagement within our community.

In the second session, Aaron Eisberg, Director of the Center for Excellence at New Tech High School, shared approaches to strengthen the evaluati9on and feedback cycle by fostering teacher self-reflection, encouraging peer evaluation, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

Both sessions offered valuable insights for school owners and leadership teams across our network of schools, reinforcing our shared commitment to growth and collaboration.

Leadership discussions continue as we prepare for the pre-conference sessions.
Aaron Eisberg shared his insights on building a strong professional community, while Julie Wigton and the Early Childhood team explored ways to teach empathy and problem-solving through persona dolls.
Meanwhile, the K–12 team deepened their dialogue with Kristin Ziemke on strategies to strengthen comprehension, communication, and critical thinking across print and digital texts.
A day filled with meaningful conversations and enlightening insights — we can’t wait to see these ideas come to life on Day 1 of our conference!

This year marks the 29th year of our journey in education.
From starting with only 8 students to now nurturing over 4000 students, this growth is not just about numbers, but about the lives we have touched, the dreams we have supported, and the generations we have helped prepare for the future.

We are proud to stand among Indonesia’s educational institutions, carrying the responsibility and honor of shaping future leaders. For nearly three decades, our dedication to advancing the education of Indonesia’s children has remained unwavering and will continue as we strengthen our commitment to providing globally competitive education towards Indonesia Emas 2045.

As we celebrate this milestone, we extend our deepest gratitude to our students, parents, teachers, and the entire community who have walked alongside us. Together, we will keep striving to deliver meaningful education and contribute to the bright future of our nation.
