Dalam suasana penuh makna, anak-anak diajak mengenal spirit Idul Adha melalui berbagai aktivitas ala Montessori yang konkret dan menyenangkan. Mereka belajar tentang perjalanan haji, mengenal hewan qurban, memahami makna berbagi, serta menumbuhkan rasa empati dan syukur dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

In this sensory & pretend play activity, children explored the meaning of qurban during the Idul Adha moment through hands-on experiences. They touched, observed, cut, and prepared “daging qurban” to make satay while engaging all of their senses in a meaningful and joyful way. 🤍

Through practical activities connected to everyday life and culture, children build understanding not only with their minds, but also with their hands and hearts.

🌿 Montessori areas involved:
• Practical Life → developing fine motor skills, coordination, concentration, and independence
• Sensorial → exploring texture, smell, temperature, shape, and size through sensory experiences
• Culture → introducing the values of sharing, gratitude, community, and Indonesian culinary traditions during Idul Adha

Dalam pendekatan Montessori, kemampuan menulis dimulai jauh sebelum anak memegang pensil. Menulis berawal dari aktivitas Practical Life yang membantu anak mengembangkan konsentrasi, koordinasi, keteraturan, kemandirian, dan kontrol gerakan. Semua pengalaman ini mempersiapkan tangan dan pikiran anak untuk proses menulis.

Aktivitas menuang menggunakan botol kaca dengan tutup swing/locking, mendukung perkembangan motorik halus dan kontrol pergelangan tangan melalui gerakan yang bermakna dan terarah.

Saat anak membuka dan menutup pengunci botol, memegang botol dengan hati-hati, mengontrol aliran saat menuang, lalu mengembalikan botol dengan lembut, otot-otot tangan yang dibutuhkan untuk menulis menjadi semakin kuat.

Aktivitas ini juga melatih koordinasi mata dan tangan, keseimbangan, serta fokus. Anak belajar bergerak dengan presisi, bekerja secara mandiri, dan mengulangi proses dengan penuh perhatian.

Melalui pengulangan, anak membangun rasa percaya diri, kesabaran, dan konsentrasi — yang semuanya merupakan fondasi penting bagi keterampilan menulis dalam lingkungan Montessori.
