3D Modeler

Positions are contract base, for Indonesian citizen, at our studio in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:
● Modeler will work in a team environment on an animated feature project.
● Will be responsible for creating organic characters and hard surface models as per international standards as asked by our Supervisors.

Required Skills:
● Preferably having strong traditional art skills (drawing, painting,sculpturing, etc.)
● Strong skill base and experience in 3D Studio Max.
● Must have strong observation skills to create models in 3D.
● Experience working on international projects is a plus.
● Knowledge/exp. in sculpting, anatomy study and Mel scripting is a plus.

Desired Skills:
● Good drawing skills
● Good storytelling skills
● Good understanding of human and animal anatomy.
● Understanding of rigging.

Regarding demo reels:
● Demo reels should demonstrate examples of detailed models for both organic and inorganic models or props.
● Inclusion of Textured and colored shaded models is a plus.

Responsible for creating extremely detailed digital mattes for feature film. The Matte Painter reports to VFX Supervisor and Art Director.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Art Director on matte paintings for feature film.
- Interact and communicate with other departments, including lighting and compositing.

Required Skills:
- High skill level in painting, composition, perspective and color.
- Strong skill base and experience in Photoshop

Responsibilities:
- Creating visual ideas that suit the brief.
- Seeking client approval for ideas with rough visuals (this stage may involve going back to the drawing board several times to rework sketches)
- Using drawing, sketching, painting and photographic skills to produce illustrations.

Required Skills:
- Excellent drawing skills
- Able to work to a brief, creative problem solving and adapting to style required in a project.
