Loving Life with Children, Everyday

Children are often encouraged to study hard so that they can be smart, and become "someone important" one day.

But, is becoming a smart (or wealthy?) person the main goal of one's life?

The reality is, we can't bring money and riches along with us when our time is up on earth. So questions like: "where will I go after my life ends on earth?", "why do I do what I do?" and "what should I do today so I will be accepted by my Creator when I leave this world one day?" should be in everyone's mind, shouldn't it?

I'm grateful to God for the opportunities to share with young children about such important questions and the answers already given and readily discovered for everyone to read.

Because such discoveries, by God's grace, change lives and gives meaning, hope, purpose, and joy.

Food for thought.

Being out and about in nature is a blessing, and I'm grateful that we got to do it again amidst our busy routines.

So encouraging to see many other families with young children joined in. Many went for their first time ever trekking as a family.

Seeing parents patiently walked with their young ones. Kids braved themselves and walked across a log. Some happily rolled themselves down a small hill @ Kebun Raya Cibodas. LOVE IT!! This is how families and children should really be ❤️🥰

Thanking God for the wonderful weather, too!

Video clip at the end of the slides highlights some good moments (with my awesome partner, Doc Mil - who was fasting at the time! - against Vivy and Rani. Thanks, ladies! 🤩)

Looking forward to our next ones!

“If you are not prepared for a lifelong commitment marked by self-sacrifice, then you should not enter into marriage.”

“Many Christian marriages struggle today because the focus has shifted from self-denial to individual self-fulfillment.”

“For a marriage to mature and flourish, husband and wife must practice daily repentance toward God and toward one another.”

“Because marriage is a covenant before God, it must unite two believers in Christ; otherwise, it is an unequal yoke.”

We tend to run towards what we love.

Question is, what is it that we truly love?

Wealth?
Popularity?
Acceptance by others?
Truth?
Christ?

Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest".

Blessed for each opportunity to share with little ones.

Throwback to when some 24 ladies had some intense fun on the pickleball court.

Grateful for our "Funtastic 4" team! We had some really tight matches, 14-15 scores! The other teams were awesome!

We didn't win, but we had fun! ❤️

Another huge milestone for the seminary.

One big contribution to Indonesia.

Blessed to have been involved in the ceremony.

I am very touched by so SO many kind gestures showered to us.

I know Jakarta traffic to the funeral home was terrible, and I completely understood if only few would visit.

Yet I saw so many still decided to come.

Even pastors.

They're all busy, yet they made time for our family.

We received messages, flowers, food & drink supplies, even support that came in white envelopes.

I often teared up as I thought to myself, "Who are we to have received such care and love?"

I thank God for every one of you.

On behalf of my dad, sisters, immediate families and relatives, we sincerely thank you.

We are blessed

And, may God bless you, too.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

 He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Quick recap of our family reunion. Usually we are thousands of miles apart and now blessed to get together for a good few days amidst our busy schedules.

A good break from our daily routines & city life.

Thankful for 2025.
Gearing ourselves for 2026.
