For a long time, I thought the answer was to achieve more.
More discipline.
More productivity.
More money.
More success.
Because somewhere along the way, I learned that love had to be earned.
So I adapted.
I became the reliable one.
The high performer.
The guy who could always push harder.
From the outside, it looked like growth.
From the inside, it was survival.
The hard part is that achievement works… for a moment.
You hit the goal.
You feel enough.
Then the feeling fades.
So you chase the next one.
And before you know it, you’ve built a life that looks successful, but you’ve slowly abandoned the parts of yourself that make life worth living.
Your play.
Your creativity.
Your tenderness.
Your relationships.
Your joy.
Your connection to God.
Your connection to nature.
Your connection to yourself.
Success isn’t the enemy.
I love building businesses.
I love setting goals.
I love becoming stronger.
But achievement was never meant to be your only source of worth.
The moment you have more than one way to feel alive, everything changes.
Sometimes success is closing a deal.
Sometimes success is sitting in silence.
Sometimes it’s laughing with your friends.
Sometimes it’s taking a deep breath, looking up at the sky, and realizing you were enough before you achieved anything today.
Build an extraordinary life.
Just don’t forget to actually live it.
