Use your breath to dive deeper into ever more subtle layers of awareness and sensitivity.. As yoga is the journey from the external toward the internal, from the gross to the subtle.. Follow the softness of your breath from your nostrils into your throat, then map your lungs.. then try to feel your diaphragm.. from there your pelvic floor and so on.. using the intelligence of your breath to wake up your cellular intelligence.. ✨😉🙏

All too often ashtangis sacrifice their connection to the breath to achieve the asanas.. I invite you to see your practice as a marathon, can you manage your breath to keep your rhythm steady and smooth from beginning to end.. you could even use a metronome to anchor yourself in the steady tempo of your breath and let the rhythm carry you through the practice..

Yoga is more about stretching the mind than the body . We use the body to stretch the mind. That means gradually smoothing out your sharp edges, softening your hard core beliefs, befriending the silence behind your breath and finding the spaciousness between thoughts..
