The English Department of the College of Arts and Sciences, Sulu State University, welcomed freshies and their parents during the CAS Department Orientation held on August 17, 2026, at the Center for Culture and Arts, SuluSU.

The morning session brought together the department’s freshies, introducing them to the academic and institutional policies, expectations, and opportunities that await them as they begin their journey in the English Department. The afternoon session welcomed their parents, fostering stronger communication and support for the students’ college experience.

With new faces, new beginnings, and shared aspirations, the English Department looks forward to guiding its freshies toward a meaningful and enriching academic journey. 📚✨

The Department of English, together with the College of Arts and Sciences, proudly joined the first Flag Raising Ceremony of Sulu State University on August 17, 2026, marking the first day of service for Academic Year 2026–2027. 🇵🇭

The Enrollment Period has been extended until Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Please take note that the Guidance and Placement Office (GPO) and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) will not accommodate enrollment-related transactions on August 18, 2026 due to the conduct of Biyahi 2026. To ensure that students are still served, both offices will continue to process enrollment concerns and requirements until August 19, 2026.

Students are hereby advised to complete all enrollment steps prior to the GPO and the OSAS, particularly those under the University Registrar, to facilitate the timely processing of their enrollment requirements.
