Last Friday, we celebrated Indonesian Independence Day with joyful hearts while learning an important value: RESPECT. 🇮🇩✨

Through our flag ceremony, practicing the salute, singing the Indonesian national anthem, and joining the celebration together, our little ones learned how to show respect — for our country, our flag, our national heroes, our teachers, and one another. ❤️🤍

These little moments may seem simple, but they are meaningful steps in helping children grow into kind, respectful, responsible, and proud young Indonesians. 🌱🌳

Because learning about independence is not only about celebrating freedom — it is also about learning to respect, appreciate, and care for others. ❤️

🌱📚 The Process of Learning 🌳✨

Learning doesn’t happen all at once — it’s a journey, step by step, through play, practice, and focus. 💚

We started with fun activities like playing with playdough, pasting, colouring, and exploring letters and numbers. 🎨👐✨

Then, little by little, we moved on to Jolly Phonics, learning to recognize letters and their sounds. We also explored numbers and so much more! 🔤🎶🔢

From there, we practiced writing our names, reading and writing simple sentences, and eventually reading short paragraphs. 📖✏️

We also explored math concepts such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication, building our confidence and problem-solving skills along the way. ➕➖✖️🧠✨

But learning at Little Tree is so much more than academics. 🌳💚

We explore Science, Yoga, Music, Gardening, Living Values, Indonesian Culture, Arts & Crafts, and so much more! 🧘‍♀️🎶🌱🎨✨

Every activity gives our little learners an opportunity to explore, discover, create, build confidence, and learn something new. 💚

Every little step is an important part of their learning journey. 🌱

We learn. We play. We focus. We practice. And we grow! ❤️🌳✨

Today, we practiced saluting, singing the Indonesian national anthem, and playing fun traditional Independence Day games. 🇮🇩❤️

Please Mommy & Daddy, don’t forget to join us this Friday! 🇮🇩✨ We’re going to have a fun and special Independence Day celebration together at Little Tree. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Today, our Littleworld and Playgroup friends also enjoyed some fun activities with their teachers. 🌱💚 Meanwhile, our Kindy and Prep friends continued learning through Jolly Phonics, reading, and writing activities. 📚✏️
