Under the Big Umbrella Education Projects, we focus on three pillars: education, skill development, and opening mindsets for underprivileged children. We believe that real change begins when a child is given the chance to dream, learn, and grow.

Introducing Movie Therapy by Big Umbrella Project!

Movie Therapy is one of our newest programs launching very soon — designed to introduce important life values, expand knowledge, and spark creativity through the magic of movies.

Program Purpose:
✅ Provide a space for children to learn from inspiring stories
✅ Encourage self-expression through writing reviews
✅ Boost creativity through post-movie activities
✅ Create joyful and meaningful connections among housemates

Program Flow:
1. Movie Time – Watching carefully selected films together
2. Review Writing – Children reflect and share their thoughts
3. Teacher Assessment – Reviews are thoughtfully assessed
4. Awards:
Best Review 🏅
Best Creator (best movie poster) 🎨
Top Spectator (top 3 in the quiz) 🎉

Movie Therapy is more than entertainment — it’s a journey into imagination, learning, and personal growth.

A study shows 90% of children in orphanages in Indonesia have both parents.They’re not orphans
—they’re there because of poverty.

✅While orphanages may offer education, many are underfunded and have poor living conditions.

✅Broken toilets, leaking roofs, overcrowded sleeping spaces are common.

✅Meals are often nutritionally poor, affecting children’s health and development.

Children need more than just shelter — they need healthy food, safe spaces, emotional support, and love to truly grow and thrive.

She once believed college was out of reach due to her family’s financial struggles.But today, she’s studying Management in college with a big dream
ahead.

Diah lives in an orphanage in Bali—not because she lost her parents, but because of poverty.

Thanks to a education grant under the Big Umbrella program, and her own determination, she’s now building a brighter future.

She aims to become a banker and work in a bank after graduating—proving that with the right support, dreams can become reality.

Let’s keep giving hope to more children like Diah through education and opportunity.
