What if cheating is just a symptom of a broken learning process?

I feel like everyone is just scratching the surface. From a pedagogical and learning theory perspective, cheating makes no sense to me. In teaching, learning should be the core.

If teachers can't monitor the learning process, and students are not capable of critical, reflective, autonomous, and responsible learning, then of course fear of cheating dominates.

But maybe we're asking the wrong question altogether.

Of course we use AI/LLM for human-based knowledge construction!
