EDRA pilots innovative teacher-training modules with strong participation.
Between October 2025 and January 2026, EDRA successfully completed the first pilot phase of the DITTE project, bringing together more than 20 teacher-education students in Athens.
The pilot lessons focused on two key areas:
• Individual Counselling
• Professional Skills Development
👉 Through 13 structured sessions, participants explored the foundations of the therapeutic relationship, practised empathy and reflective awareness, and developed essential counselling and communication skills. Real-life case studies – including topics such as migration, neurodiversity and social inequality – supported a hands-on learning experience, encouraging systemic thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
👉 At the same time, the programme emphasised ethical decision-making, anti-discriminatory practice and multidisciplinary collaboration, preparing future teachers to work in diverse and inclusive educational environments.
👉 The pilot phase also tested a set of digital learning tools, including interactive workbooks and self-reflection resources, which will be further refined based on participant feedback.
This milestone marks an important step forward for the DITTE project, paving the way for the next phase of implementation across partner institutions in Europe.
