Short and Simple’s Story

It started a long time ago, around 2010, when I felt really inspired and motivated to create worksheets of all sorts to help my one-to-one students. I thought to myself that I should maybe collect these resources I spent a lot of time creating and upload them to make them accessible to anyone who wants to study English.

So I created the first version of Short and Simple English on a Tumblr blog because at that time I was still hooked on Tumblr sites. After a while I launched the page as well, where I shared all the previously made worksheets, and also started to repost some interesting videos and links I found all over the internet.

But then my motivation to create worksheets slowly faded as the weight of my responsibilities and duties increased, and I stopped publishing worksheets and updating both websites altogether.

Later, however, I decided to revive this project of mine firstly because I needed something else to focus on and play with in my free time and also because I felt sorry for the number of followers I managed to collect through the years. That was the time when I decided to launch the instagram page of Short and Simple English and start the Learn Words with Pictures series where I try to shed light on related words and on differences between commonly confused words.
