Back in 2015 in London, fencing legend Laura Flessel🐝 left an unforgettable mark on Escrime Academy: with incredible generosity, Escrime Academy’s godmother helped us raise vital funds for The Haemophilia Society UK for our 10 year anniversary & she inspired our young fencers with her advice.
✨ Over the past 10 years – including Paris 2024 – Laura has never stopped supporting, guiding, and inspiring us.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, this remains one of our most precious memories… and we hope to create new magic together soon, Laura! 🤺✨

👉 Après la collecte de dons lors des 1/4 de finale des playoffs avec le Secours Populaire, qui a permis de récolter 𝟮𝟭𝟱𝟭€, les Pionniers de Chamonix, Chamonix Hockey Club et Club des Sports Chamonix accompagnés de différents clubs du territoire se sont mobilisés pour accueillir 𝟱𝟮 𝗿𝗲́𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗲́𝘀 𝘂𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗷𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀.

🚌 Un convoi humanitaire est parti le vendredi 18 mars de Chamonix avec 5️⃣ tonnes de dotations (alimentaires, vêtements, produits d’hygiènes…) !

❤️ Nous souhaitons remercier l’ensemble des personnes qui ont contribué à cette formidable initiative.

Join us for Lockdown Season 3, Episode 8 on Zoom on Thursday 11th March!

It’d been an uphill battle but we’re on the right road back to the salle - so let’s keep up the hard work on zoom to make sure we don’t get a puncture!! 🚗

Please join us at 5:30pm-6:30pm if you’re in the Advanced Group, or 6:30pm-8pm if you’re in the Elite Fencer Group.

This week the Advanced Group will be working on building superhero strength! Holding your foil or epee again will be easy after training your upper body muscles in this session! 💪

Meanwhile the Elite Fencer Group session will focus on core stability. This will help you to lunge, recover and change direction on the piste when we get back! Afterwards there’ll be a talk from GBR fencer Louis Guennou on returning to competition. Louis will tell us about pitfalls to avoid on the day, as well as how how to prepare - from the night before until the final. 🏆

This week both classes will be a 💥FULL BODY BLAST💥 - aimed at improving your CARDIOVASCULAR ENDURANCE!! Elimination bouts can last up to 9 minutes in fencing so let’s make sure we’re all ready to return to the piste together as soon as possible! 🏃🏻‍♀️💨💨💨
