The members of Artemis Vocational Education Supporting Association are always up for learning some more! As a part of our tour in Northern Spain we visited and volunteered at Asociación Partycipa (aka d-Prao). During the ten days of our stay we talked a lot and shared good practices with Sergio who is the head of this Asturian association. He is a professional psychologist and at the same time engineer, construction worker, mechanic and farmer. He has more than twenty years of experience on the field of developing rural areas and building small local communities.

Sergio practices permaculture farming on this land, which was particularly interesting to us since the climate is way more humid than in Hungary. Sustainable farming require lots of different methods here that were previously unknown for us. It was also interesting to hear about how global climate change affects this region. We are very glad that we could contribute to the construction of the community hub being built in d-Prao and looking forward to possible future contributions and projects.

Food technician and agricultural technician students from Poljoprivredna škola "Vršac" - Vršac, Serbia, recently completed their internship near Lake Velence with the assistance of our Association. The program included practical experiences at the teaching farm of Dr. Entz Ferenc Agricultural Vocational High School and College, sustainable agricultural farms of Csillagmajor Ökofarm, Borbás Kert, Kertemneked, Pusztaszabolcsi Tej, Bódi Andi spárgája, Orondpuszta, Valaha Tanya, food production at Heiter Hús, Piszke Sajt and at study bakery of Szent István Technikum.

Over the course of two weeks, the students gained valuable insights into the operations of local farms in and around Velence. Were getting knowledge about organic/ecological farming and permaculture and. They actively participated in organic food production, crop cultivation, horticulture, animal care and several daily farm tasks, allowing them to learn more about susutainable agricultural techniques. They explored the vibrant city Budapest, visited the Agroverzum an interactive museum of agriculture and Pagony Zoo.

2 weeks, incredibly huge amount of professional and cultural experiences; dedicated, hard-working students, supportive accompanying teachers.

Another successful Eramus+ mobility!
Veterinary technician and agricultural technician students of Ljubo Mićić Agricultural Vocational School and Student Home arrived from Požega, Serbia. They spend their internship close to Lake Velence with assistance of our Association. Part of the practices took place at the teaching farm of the Dr. Entz Ferenc Agricultural Vocational High School and College, and its dormitory functioned as a temporary home for the students during this short but colorful program.
During the 2 weeks, the students got a more comprehensive picture of the operations of the farms operating in and around Venice, dealing with crop cultivation and animal breeding and while helping the employees in their daily work, they were able to learn a lot about the businesses operating in the area, the applied agricultural techniques and animal health. They had so many experiences during their trips to Székesfehérvár and Budapest, furthermore together we visited an institution working with bird rescue, we also visited museums and parks and whoever had a drop of energy left at the end of the day could splash around in Lake Velence. Excellent partners, hard-working students, active accompanying teachers...it was an amazing mobility with you, guys 🥰

Újabb sikeres mobilitás! A szerbiai Požegából érkeztek a Ljubo Mićić Mezőgazdasági Szakképző Iskola és Diákotthon állatorvos technikus és mezőgazdasági technikus tanulói, akik a Velencei-tó közvetlen közelében tölthették Erasmus+ szakmai gyakorlatukat Egyesületünk közreműködésével. A gyakorlati munka egy része a Dr. Entz Ferenc Mezőgazdasági Szakgimnázium, Szakközépiskola, és Kollégium tangazdaságában zajlott, a kollégium pedig a diákok ideiglenes otthonaként funkcionált eme rövid, de annál tartalmasabb program során.

A 2 hét alatt a tanulók átfogóbb képet kaptak a Velence és környékén tevékenykedő, növénytermesztéssel, állattenyésztéssel foglalkozó gazdaságok működésével kapcsolatban és miközben segítették az ott dolgozókat a napi munkavégzésükben, rengeteget tanulhattak a térségben működő vállalkozásokról, az alkalmazott mezőgazdasági technikákról és az állategészségügyről. Megannyi élménnyel gazdagodtak a székesfehérvári és budapesti utazások alkalmával, de együtt ellátogattunk egy madármentéssel foglalkozó intézménybe, továbbá múzeumokat, parkokat jártunk be és akinek maradt még egy csepp energiája a nap végére, az csobbanhatott egyet a Velencei-tóban. Kiváló partnerek, dolgos diákok, aktív kísérőtanárok…élmény volt ez mobilitás veletek.

A Zrenjanini Mezőgazdasági Szakképző Iskola tanulói 2 hetes Erasmus+ gyakorlaton vettek részt Keszthelyen, Egyesületünk szervezésében. A diákok nem csupán szemlélői, de aktív részesei is lehettek a magyarországi állattartás és növénytermesztés majd minden területét érintő szakmai gyakorlati programnak.
A résztvevők betekintést nyerhettek a sertés- és szarvasmarhatelepek, a lovarda, a burgonyakutató központ, a növény- gabona- és gombatermesztés, valamint a szőlőtermesztés és borkészítés mindennapi működésébe.
A dolgos hétköznapok után a Balaton közelsége és a számos kulturális program segítette a résztvevőket a kikapcsolódásban, a régió megismerésében.

The students of Zrenjanin High Agricultural School took part in a 2-weeks Erasmus+ internship in Keszthely - HU, organized by AVESA. The students were not only observers but also active participants of the professional practice program covering all areas of Hungarian animal husbandry and crop production.
The participants had a chance to get an insight into the daily operation of the pig and cattle farms, the horse stable, the potato research center, the cultivation of crops, grains and mushrooms as well as the cultivation of grapes and winemaking.
After the busy weekdays the picturesque lake Balaton and numerous cultural programs were helping the participants relaxing and getting some knowledge about the culture of the region and Hungary.
Thanks to the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Keszthely for the precious support they provided in the organization for granting practical places and excellent professionals.

Five of us from our association travelled to Cyprus to learn about the effects of intolerance by conducting activities to promote tolerance among different social groups. We learned new tools and skills to promote the integration of migrants in their local communities / Erasmus+ 2022- KA 153-YOU-72185BBF

Mezőgazdasági szakmai gyakorlat a Kiskunságban a törökországi "Konya il Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü" iskola diákjaival.

What a great team! It was a pleasure to meet the students from Gospodarska škola Čakovec. Lots of enthusiasm and knowledge and useful skills were presented by all the participants.

Students from Bulgaria had an exciting and informative time during their stay in Hungary while learning about sustainable farming .

KA1 mobility for VET students in agriculture Students traveled from Belozem - Bulgaria to to get a hands-on experience of Hungarian agriculture.

Earlier this year we had a very interesting field trip to Eastern Bulgaria. We witnessed the wonders of ХАЛЕ 3 - a safe space for youth to express their creativity, and they have an indoor skate park and concert hall! We also had the chance to visit the The Social Teahouse and get an insight on the problems and practicalities of integrating young adults into society who grew up in institutions. All thanks to our partner, Сдружение ЗА ТЕБ for getting us in touch with these wonderful organizations.

We Learn in Order to Teach Our group goes on a learning tour of Eastern Bulgarian social institutions.

Our students learned about the latest machines during their visits with local companies. We would like to thank Közép-magyarországi Agrárszakképzési Centrum for their support and being a big part of the success of our mobility program.
