Happy new Year!

On December 27th we had our annual Christmas concert. Our students worked very hard and practiced everyday leading up to this event.

Ecole de Musique Christian Nohel needs your help.

We are currently running the program in a volunteer home. We are seeing interest by more students than we have room for.

Students are using donated second-hand instruments for learning. We are looking to purchase an existing building or a plot of land to build and equip our own center to conduct better education for our students and show them that there is a career in music.

Welcome to EMCN. Haiti is a country of artists and has generations worth of musical excellence. Giving children the opportunity to embrace music not only keeps the tradition alive but also brings joy and a sense of identity to many children. Studies have shown that musical education can drastically improve overall academic performance. A school that gives children the opportunity to explore the art of music can boost community morale, promote self-expression, and boost the children’s self esteem.

We welcome students ages 5 and up. We currently host 50 students for our two-year music education program.
