Središnji dio rada platforme bit će razvijanje web-portala, on-line baze o djelovanju platforme i njezinih članica.

Short description
International cooperative platform whose goal is to connect experts and organizations with an active approach to the issues of National Liberation Struggle (NOB) heritage protection
Description
The regional platform Inappropriate monuments has been created to establish a framework of long term cooperation between partner organizations from Former Yugoslavia, who are problematizing questions of revalorization and protection of National Liberation Struggle historic monuments. The platform is intended to connect the institutions and independent organizations, empower their capacities and distribute their results thereby advocating a regulated international strategy concerning the National Liberation Struggle heritage. For that purpose activities such as research and mapping of the historical monuments will be conducted alongside interviews of people who were responsible for their installation and maintenance. Other activities will include organizing student workshops and conferences for experts, and setting up exhibitions and artistic interventions. The central activity of the platform is going to be the development of a web page and online database about the platform, its activities and its members. We see the historic monuments of the National Liberation Struggle as a product of the complex economic and political processes within the construction and dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Therefore we understand the meaning communicated by these monuments in relationship with the recent political history, which is in turn inextricably linked with the process of transition in the former Yugoslavia, in addition to their memorial and aesthetic values. This approach allows us a clear distance from the aestheticization and fetishism of the monuments and from the nostalgic impulse for past times therefore providing the basis for the revalorization and protection of this heritage. The project partners are SF:ius (HRV), the Museum of Modern Art - Ljubljana and KUD Anarhiv (SVN), the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) and the Group of Architects (SRB) and Leftist Movement Solidarnost (MKD). Financial support: 'Kultura nova' Foundation, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, Zagreb City Office for Education, Culture and Sports, Allianz Cultural Foundation, Balkan Arts and Culture Fund - BAC (BAC is supported by the Swiss Government through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the European Cultural Foundation (ECF) ).
