【Our Playground 我們的足球場】 - Jan Lamb 林海峰

恭喜SJPS足球隊勇奪賽馬會五人足球盃（學校組）全港冠軍！原來，早前師兄林海峰Jan Lamb，在我們SJPS的足球場，同幾位冠軍球員踢了場波，還分享了自己對學校「粗獷」的喜愛！

Congratulations to the SJPS football team for crowning championship in the Jockey Club Futsal Cup’s School Division! Meanwhile, our old boy, Mr. Jan Lamb has come back to play with a few of our champion footballers. He also shared his fondness for the school's "brutalism"!

【Self-Aspiration 自許】 - Alfred Hui 許廷鏗

SJPS禮堂，不單為無數孩子築起了表演舞台，還建立了自許、自信！
Alfred許廷鏗跟大家回顧，【Alfrecord-自許紀錄】在SJPS的原點。

(並由SJPS音樂主任Ms P**n為大家介紹，未來新校舍禮堂的設計理念。)

The SJPS school hall not only provided a performing stage for our boys but also established self-aspiration and self- confidence, featuring the character of all Josephians.
Alfred Hui takes us down memory lane to the origins of his music label: “Alfrecord".

SJPS首位華人校長，自70年代起出任校長超過三十載，Mr. YC Yung近況如何？
風度翩翩的Mr. Yung，對若瑟夫的風度有甚麼看法，對學校又有甚麼回憶？

SJPS's first Chinese principal, Mr. YC Yung had served as the principal for over three decades since the 1970s. How is he doing recently?
Mr. Yung has always been a graceful presence at school. How about his thoughts on the demeanor of the Josephians, and what memories of the school does he have?

Mr. Yung’s appeal to Josephians, "Since the campus of SJPS is relatively small, and there are many areas of development, we often felt that our ambitions exceeded our capabilities. I hope the alumni of SJPS will donate generously to support the redevelopment plan, so that we can realize the dream of having a brand new and better equipped campus!"

【the VISIONARY pioneer 高瞻遠矚的開拓者】Bro. Patrick Tierney (Intro. by Mr. KK Tam)

每個宏大計劃的背後，都有一位高瞻遠矚的開拓者。

Brother Patrick Tierney：作風低調平易近人的Bro. Patrick，是一位香港喇沙會修士，從1964年至今已經默默為香港教育界服務60年！在他眼中，SJPS除了輝煌的過去，更急切需要再進一步，為未來的成功奠下基石。他於是提議SJPS原址重建，並動員一些舊生輔助整個重建計劃。

(Mr. KK Tam：前SJPS老師、訓導主任、副校長。他退休後與Bro. Patrick共事多年，現為大家介紹Bro. Patrick與聖若瑟的深厚淵源。)

Behind every grand plan, there is a visionary pioneer.

Brother Patrick Tierney: As one of the La Salle Brothers in Hong Kong, Bro. Patrick has been whole- heartedly serving the education sector for 60 years. In his vision, SJPS not only has a glorious past, but also urgently needs to step forward to prepare for future successes. Hence, he initiated school redevelopment for SJPS and invited some alumni to assist in implementing the plan.

(Mr. KK Tam: Former SJPS teacher, discipline master, and vice principal. After his retirement, he has worked with Bro. Patrick for years. He is introducing to us Bro. Patrick’s close bonding with SJPS.)

Our Inaugural Launch Ceremony of Fund-raising for our school redevelopment project on 27th October, 2023 has brought back fond memories of our childhood days at 48 Wood Road. While we were reminiscing about our precious moments here, we are about to embark upon a journey that will bring the young Josephians to a new era that empowers growth and embraces innovations and creativity. Your unfettered generosity will definitely help SJPS hit the target of fund-raising with flying colours.
