今屆演藝中樂新生音樂會，琴晚圓滿結束🎉 成場演出聽落好似坐過山車咁，今屆新生造詣十分高！

開場鼓聲一落，戰場氣息撲面而來，跟住阮、古箏、板胡、嗩吶輪流帶你遊山玩水，四處奔走，最後笙與鋼琴對話收尾。係咪仲想聽多啲經典樂曲呢？

9月21號仲有一場南北和嗚嘅音樂會！中國音樂學院 × 演藝中樂系 攜手合作，兩院師生同台演出，作品精心挑選，含金量極高🎶 到時見啦！

This year's Academy Chinese Music Department Freshman Concert concluded successfully last night! 🎉 The freshmen gave it their all, the performance was truly showcased their exceptional talent! Still craving more classic pieces?

On September 21st, there's another concert: "A Cross-Bay Chamber Music Gathering" — a collaboration between the China Conservatory of Music and the HKAPA Chinese Music Department! 🎵【南北和鳴·樂聚灣區——演藝中樂系與中國音樂學院交流音樂會預告】

承灣區之風，匯南北之韻。9月21日，中國音樂學院國樂系與香港演藝學院中樂系首度攜手，聯合呈獻「南北和鳴·樂聚灣區」學術交流音樂會。兩院師生同台出演，以琴會友，以樂傳心。

是次音樂會，不僅中國音樂學院派出多位名家重磅登場，同樣演藝學院中樂系的同學們一同傾情獻演。曲目橫跨南北，縱貫古今。吹打樂《得勝令》，板胡經典曲目《月牙五更》，琵琶古箏二重奏《月兒高》，打擊樂作品《花板鼓》，二胡曲目《草原上》，嗩吶名曲《百鳥朝鳳》，亦有演藝同學們演繹的嶺南經典廣東音樂和重奏作品。作品精心遴選，敬請期待！

The School of Music held its Academy Concerto Competition (Chinese Instruments Division) on 12 June, following the Western Instruments edition earlier this month. The competition reflects the School's ongoing commitment to Chinese music education and its support for student composers writing original works.

After a series of highly competitive preliminary rounds, four student musicians advanced to the final, where they performed as soloists with the orchestra. In the week leading up to the competition, the finalists took part in intensive rehearsals with the full orchestra and conductor, a valuable experience that gave them real-world experience in tackling large-scale orchestral works beyond the classroom. Students had the exclusive opportunity to work with the Academy Chinese Orchestra under the baton of National First-Class Conductor Yuan Bei.

The adjudication panel was chaired by Iñaki Sandoval, Dean of the School of Music, and joined by external jurors Mr Tsui Ying-fai from the LCSD Music Office, HKSAR Government, Dr Oliver Chou from the China Literary and Arts Critics Association and three Heads of Departments of the School. The evening started with a world premiere of: A Thousand Mountains in Query, an original composition by MMus2 student Zhuang Jiajun.

The performances showed the technical precision and musical sensitivity these young artists have developed, and the evening reaffirmed the School's commitment to nurturing and performing original student work.

🎉 2026年6月12日，音樂學院協奏曲比賽（中樂組）於香港演藝學院區永熙音樂廳圓滿舉行。

本場比賽由國家一級指揮袁貝執棒演藝中樂團，四位決賽者先後演繹多首經典協奏曲：黃紫柔《太陽祭》、王嘯辰《九兒隨想曲》、蔡暐彥《火之舞》、李嘉誠《長城隨想》。賽事還特別出演作曲系學生莊佳駿創作的中樂團作品《千嶂問》。

✨最終，中樂系嗩吶碩士生蔡暐彥憑借對《火之舞》的出色詮釋，一舉拿下優勝獎與觀眾票選獎，成為本屆雙料得主。

賽事評委主席、音樂學院院長盛韻奇博士率評委團高度評價其演奏“富有張力、風格獨特、舞台表現力出眾”，贏得專業評審與現場觀眾雙重認可。

Academy Concerto Competition Finals (Chinese Instruments Division)

Academy Chinese Orchestra, under the baton of National First-Class Conductor Yuan Bei, will present an exciting evening featuring four finalists performing a selection of classic Chinese concerto works:

Wong Tsz-yau – Rite of the Sun
Wang Xiaochen – Capriccio on “Jiu’er”
Tsoi Wai-yin – Dance of Fire
Li Jiacheng – The Great Wall Capriccio

The competition will also feature the world premiere of A Thousand of Mountains in Query, a new work for Chinese orchestra composed by our student from Composition department, Zhuang Jiajun. The competition features both a Winner Prize and an Audience Prize. Audience members will be invited to vote for their favourite finalist during the event. We warmly invite you to join us for this special evening.
