📸✨ "A Stunning Showcase of New and Old Heritage Carriers—Trendy Music Ignites the Dragon Pavilion Intangible Cultural Heritage Gala"

Qian Yinuo, a student pursuing the Higher Diploma in Creative Culture and Arts Practice, is participating in the 15th Campus News Awards 2026 organized by China Daily (Hong Kong), in the Best News Photography category! 👏

Captured at the 2026 Kaifeng Dragon Pavilion Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Music Festival, the photograph beautifully depicts master artisans and the new generation of heritage carriers sharing the same stage. Hakka hill songs sing of our cultural roots, connecting the hearts of Hakka people across the globe.🎵🎼
Two students pursuing the Higher Diploma in Creative Culture and Arts Practice are currently participating in the 15th China Daily Hong Kong Campus News Awards 2026, organized by China Daily (Hong Kong), in the Best Feature News Video Reporting category.
Employing their keen cultural intuition, the students have beautifully captured the stories of Hakka communities from both sides, breathing new life into these traditional melodies for the younger generation. Hakka culture is not just a relic of history—it is a living, breathing melody of daily life.
Have you ever heard a Hakka hill song?
