Why your Sandbag work is leaving gains on the table. 📉
In a Hyrox race, fatigue isn’t just muscular—it’s neurological. When you’re at Kilometer 7 and your core is screaming, traditional weights don’t prepare you for the “chaos” of movement.
That’s why I switched to Live Weight. 🌊
The water inside the FX equipment shifts constantly. Every rep forces your stabilizer muscles to fire 3x harder to keep you balanced. It’s not just about strength; it’s about reactive stability.
If you want to shave minutes off your Rox time and build a core that doesn’t quit:

The biggest weight isn’t the water—it’s the “What ifs.” 🌊
We’ve all been there. Standing at the edge of something new, feeling that familiar tug-of-war between “I want to grow” and “I’m not ready.”
When it comes to training with live weight, the uncertainty is part of the process. The water moves, it challenges your stability, and it demands your full presence. But that’s exactly where the magic happens.
In our FX Foundation Course, we don’t expect you to be a pro on day one. We expect you to be human.
Scared of the weight? You control the fill.
Worried about balance? That’s why we’re here to coach you.
Nervous about joining? You’re joining a community that does hard things together.
The “What ifs” are just your brain’s way of protecting you from the unknown. But growth lives in the unknown. Let’s reframe the fear and find your flow.
The next Foundation Course:
- February 22 in Hong Kong 🇭🇰
- March 29 in Singapore 🇸🇬
- April 3 in Thailand 🇹🇭 .ig
Don’t let a “What if” hold you back.

A half marathon later and my legs are still thanking me. 🙏🏽🏃🏽♀️
Training for a half marathon isn’t just about the distance —it’s about the mechanics. When I hit the pavement for 21km, I needed my body to handle the impact and the fatigue without breaking down.
These are the 3 FX stability moves that bulletproofed my run and “saved” my legs on race day:
1️⃣ Single Leg RDL: Essential for hamstring strength and ankle stability. This move taught my body to balance on one leg (which is basically what running is!) while controlling the load.
2️⃣ Standing Halo: Posture is everything when you get tired. This reinforced my core and shoulder stability, helping me stay upright and open even in those final kilometers.
3️⃣ Reverse Lunge with Rotation: Running isn’t just linear! Adding the rotation challenged my core and glutes to work together, mimicking the cross-body connection needed for efficient strides.
If you’re training for a race, don’t neglect the stability work. It’s the difference between just finishing and finishing strong.
Save this for your next strength session! 📌
