🎉 We were delighted to host our 𝐓𝐏𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐫 on Monday evening, bringing together more than 100 of our postgraduate students, alumni, faculty members and guests from the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care!

It was wonderful to see everyone reconnecting with old friends, building new professional connections, and sharing experiences in such a vibrant and atmosphere. 🥂✨

JCSPHPC successfully held Career Compass 2026 from 24 to 28 March, featuring career talks across the sectors of NGOs, Academia, Private Companies, and Public Institutions, along with a Saturday networking session.

The School extends its sincere gratitude to all the guest speakers and alumni who generously contributed their time and insights to offer the students valuable exposure to authentic career journeys.

Our School remains committed to the continuous development and enhancement of our postgraduate programmes across all key areas of public health and primary care, in response to the evolving health needs of Hong Kong and the wider region. Beyond disease prevention and clinical care, our work emphasises the broader social, environmental, and systemic factors that shape population health.
Each year, over 300 postgraduate students join our programmes to further their training in Public Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, and Health Services Management. We offer both full-time and part-time study options, welcoming students from Hong Kong and around the world.

We were delighted to host our recent MPH Taste Lecture on 7 March 2026, featuring our MPH Programme Director, Prof Roger Yat-nork CHUNG. Prof CHUNG delivered an insightful lecture titled “Equity in Healthcare: Addressing Social Determinants of Health,” offering participants valuable perspective on one of the most significant issues in public health today.

The session examined how social factors—such as income, housing, and education—shape health outcomes, and highlighted the importance of addressing these determinants to advance health equity.

Participants also had the opportunity to hear from one of our MPH alumni, Mr Michael CHAN, who shared his professional journey and reflected on how the MPH Programme broadened his perspective as a business responsible lead in a law firm, equipped with public health knowledge.
