偶爾懷念從前，想著那些「以前好像比較好的日子」；
一邊又打開日曆，計劃下個月、下下個月，還未發生的事情。

我們在過去與未來之間來回，卻很少真正停留在當下。

金工有時候，就像一場很慢的冥想。

手與工具慢慢磨合，眼睛只專注在面前的一小片銀。
看著它由一塊銀料，經過鋸切、敲打、塑形，一點一點變成戒指。

打磨時，摩擦讓銀逐漸變暖；
鋸弓、銼刀、鎚子碰上金屬，各自發出不同的聲音，像工具與材料即興合奏的一小段音樂。

這一刻沒有昨天，也還不用想明天。

只是看著銀的表面，感受手中的溫度，聽著一下又一下的聲音。

From sawing and soldering to shaping and polishing, every step was completed by hand, with guidance from our instructor throughout the process and the opportunity to learn a range of traditional goldsmithing techniques.
