Information about Oxbridge Admissions Talk 2020

Students from Oxford and Cambridge will share their first-hand experience of going through the admissions process in the upcoming talk for Year 10-12 students. The talk will cover areas including:

- Insider’s advice on choosing between different UK universities
- Specific explanation and advice on UCAS and Oxbridge admissions procedures
- Sharing of their personal preparation process by Oxbridge students
- A subject discussion session modelled after Oxbridge tutorials
- Q and A session with current Oxbridge students

Sebastian Pun is currently a second year student at the University of Oxford reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). He previously studied at St Paul's Co-educational College, completing his IBDP in 2018. Apart from his Oxford offer, Sebastian also received offers from LSE, UCL, Warwick and Bristol.

At SOAR, Sebastian coordinates our Humanities subject applications, as well as personally mentoring students applying for Politics and Economics. With his extensive experience in TSA and Oxford applications, Sebastian regularly advises students applying to Oxford.

Dora Tse is currently studying Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. She previously studied at St. Paul’s Co-educational College, completing her HKDSE in 2018. Apart from her Cambridge offer, Dora also received Economics offers from UCL, LSE, KCL and Warwick as well as medicine offers from HKU and CUHK (with scholarships).

As one of our founding directors, Dora coordinates our Humanities subject applications, as well as personally mentoring students applying for Economics and Land Economy. Dora also manages the S.O.A.R. Mentorship Programme, keeping track of the progress of all mentees regularly and ensuring the smooth operation of all components of the programme.
