THEi BIM 比賽 2026 工作坊圓滿舉行 中學生齊學 BIM 技術構建綠創幼稚園
2026 年 3 月 28 日，由 THEi 高科院屋宇裝備工程 (榮譽) 工學士課程主辦的THEi BIM 比賽 2026「小創意・大未來」BIM 工作坊 順利舉行。是次工作坊專為晉身比賽第二階段的中一至中三參賽者設立，透過專業教學與實操體驗，讓參賽者熟練掌握 BIM 核心技術，為後續「綠創幼稚園」設計賽事打下堅實基礎。
當日工作坊由專業 BIM 導師 Jacqueline SO 主講，從 BIM 技術在建築業的應用與發展切入，系統講解 Autodesk Revit 及 Navisworks 兩大核心軟件的操作技巧。參賽者先後學習 Revit 模型建構、個人化物件製作、綠建相關物件應用，以及如何透過 Navisworks 將 Revit 模型轉換為圖片與影片等實用內容，並在問答環節與導師深入交流技術難點。
工作坊歷時一日，從上午 9 時至下午 6 時，流程緊湊且內容充實，不僅讓參賽者掌握了 3D 數碼建模的基礎能力，更為其搭建了與同樣熱愛建築工程的同儕交流聯繫的平台。活動最後，所有參與者均獲頒 BIM 工作坊證書，見證此次學習成果。
後續參賽者需於 5 月 28 日前遞交第二階段比賽作品，並在 7 月 4 日的演講暨頒獎典禮上現場向評審闡述設計理念，角逐最高 5000 港元的現金獎勵及獎盃。
THEi 高科院一直致力於推動香港建造業數碼化發展，此次 BIM 比賽與工作坊的舉辦，不僅讓年輕一代接觸前沿的建築信息模擬技術，更鼓勵其將綠色、創新的設計理念融入幼稚園空間規劃，以小創意開啟建築行業的大未來。

THEi BIM Competition 2026 Workshop Successfully Held: Secondary Students Master BIM for A Greener Kindergarten
On 28 March 2026, the THEi BIM Competition 2026 "Small Ideas • Big Future" BIM Workshop, organised by the BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering programme of THEi, was successfully held. Tailored for S1-S3 students who advanced to the second phase of the competition, the one-day workshop provided professional training and hands-on experience to help participants master core BIM skills, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent "A Greener Kindergarten" design competition.
Led by professional BIM lecturer Jacqueline SO, the workshop starting with an introduction to the role and development of BIM in the construction industry, the session systematically covered the operation of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. Participants learned practical skills including Revit model construction, custom object creation, application of green building-related objects, and converting Revit models into images and videos via Navisworks. They also engaged in an interactive Q&A session to discuss technical challenges with the lecturer.
Running from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, the workshop not only equipped participants with basic 3D digital modelling capabilities but also created a platform for networking with peers who share a passion for architecture and engineering. All attendees were awarded a BIM Workshop Certificate at the end of the event in recognition of their learning achievements.
Participants are required to submit their second-phase entries by 28 May and present their designs to the judges at the presentation and award ceremony on 4 July, competing for cash prizes of up to HK$5,000 and trophies.
Committed to driving the digital transformation of Hong Kong's construction industry, THEi’s BIM Competition and Workshop not only introduce cutting-edge BIM technology to the younger generation but also encourage them to integrate green and innovative design concepts into kindergarten space planning, unlocking the big future of the construction industry with small creative ideas.

【FSEE Advanced BS Implementation in KTSP – Technical Talk Successfully Held!】
衷心感謝 豐盛機電工程集團有限公司（FSE Engineering Group Ltd.） 於 2026 年 3 月 9 日 為 THEi DCEE 學生 帶來一場內容豐富的技術講座：
「FSEE Advanced BS Implementation in KTSP」。
講座吸引了 超過 100 位學生在線上和線下參與，並深入介紹香港地標式工程項目——啟德體育園（KTSP） 的大樓服務系統應用。
KTSP 是 豐盛機電數十年來最大的機電安裝工程項目，與協興建築合作興建，佔地 28 公頃，包括 50,000 座位主場館、10,000 座位室內體育館、5,000 座位運動場及逾 14 公頃的開放空間，是香港政府在體育基建方面的重要投資。
學生們透過講座加深了解大型工程項目的複雜性，並認識 FSE Engineering 在這項旗艦級體育基建中的關鍵角色。

A huge thank you to FSE Engineering Group Ltd. for delivering an enriching technical talk on “Advanced BS Implementation in KTSP” on 09 March 2026 for our THEi DCEE students!
More than 100 students participated both online and face-to-face in this inspiring session, gaining valuable insights into the engineering applications behind one of Hong Kong’s largest and most iconic infrastructure projects — Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP).
KTSP is FSE Engineering’s largest electrical and mechanical installations project in decades, developed in collaboration with Hip Hing Construction, and spans over 28 hectares featuring a 50,000-seat stadium, a 10,000-seat indoor sports centre, a 5,000-seat public sports ground, and extensive open space.
The talk strengthened students’ understanding of the real-world complexity of large-scale E&M systems and showcased the pivotal role played by FSE Engineering in supporting Hong Kong’s flagship sports infrastructure.
We sincerely appreciate FSE Engineering Group Ltd. for their ongoing support, industry knowledge, and contributions to nurturing the next generation of engineering professionals.

【Elevating Higher Education Excellence in the Asia-Pacific】

我們很高興宣佈，本院將參與於 2025年11月20至23日 在 中國香港特別行政區 舉行的2025 APQN Annual Accreditation Committee & Annual General Meeting (APQN AAC & AGM。

為推動亞太區高等教育質素的創新與最佳實踐，本院同仁 姚詩韻工程師 (Ir Sherry Yiu)、潘艷博士工程師 (Ir Dr Penny Pan) 及 黃浩輝博士工程師 (Ir Dr Simon Wong) 共同撰寫了一篇會議論文【Fostering Quality of Flexible Learning Pathways in Building Services Engineering Education】，並已獲接納。

更值得鼓舞的是，姚詩韻工程師 (Ir Sherry Yiu) 將於大會上代表本院發表該論文，與來自亞太區的評審專家及教育領袖分享我們的見解與成果。

於11月26日，本校榮幸邀請 聯和承造有限公司（Alliance Contracting Company Limited） 為我校工程學系學生舉辦 「冷藏庫與遺體儲存裝置安裝」 專題技術講座，吸引 超過100名學生 參與。

感謝Mr Bernard Ma分享香港多個重要醫院項目的實戰經驗，讓學生獲得超越課本的業界視野。

【專題技術講座：基建項目中的機電系統應用】
於 11月20日，本校榮幸邀請三位業界專家 Ir Roger Wong、Mr. Tang Tak Ping 及 Mr. Wan Anthony，為工程學系學生舉辦「Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point 隧道項目中的機電系統設計與實施」專題技術講座。
講座深入探討 暖通空調（HVAC）系統及隧道消防系統設計，並以香港重要基建項目 香園圍邊境管制站隧道 為案例，讓學生了解如何在複雜地質及長距離隧道中，確保通風效率與安全性能。
項目簡介：
香園圍隧道是香港最長的陸上公路隧道之一，連接粉嶺公路至邊境管制站，提升跨境交通效率，並採用先進的通風及消防技術，應對嚴格的安全標準。
感謝三位講者分享寶貴的實戰經驗，讓學生獲得超越課本的業界視野，並加深學界與業界的聯繫，助力學生掌握屋宇裝備及項目管理的實務技能。

On 20 November, we were honored to host Ir Roger Wong, Mr. Tang Tak Ping, and Mr. Wan Anthony for a technical seminar on MEP implementation in the Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Tunnel Project.
The session explored HVAC and fire protection system design, showcasing how these critical systems ensure ventilation efficiency and safety in one of Hong Kong’s most significant infrastructure projects.
This collaboration strengthens the vital link between academia and industry, equipping students with practical knowledge in building services and project management.
