~Inauguration Ceremony & AGM of PIPS-PTA (2018-2019)~
The Inauguration Ceremony will be held together with the Annual General Meeting and a parents' workshop on coming Saturday (13/10) at PIPS-RG. We are delighted to invite Mr. LEE Hon Mo Ricky, Chairman of TWPTAF, to be the officiating guest of the Ceremony. Also, the parent's workshop will be held by Ms CHAN Chor Wa from The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. There will be different activities to teach parents how to be a volunteer.
Parent members please do come to join the ceremony. See you on Saturday!

~第二十屆家長教師會就職典禮暨會員大會~
本年度第二十屆家長教師會就職典禮暨會員大會將於星期六(13/10)上午於深井海韻花園第五座校舍舉行，屆時本會將邀請荃灣區家長教師會聯會主席 – 李漢武先生擔任主禮嘉賓，同時本會亦邀請了香港青年協會社工陳楚華女士為我們主持《義動繽紛工作坊》，陳姑娘會分享做義工的樂趣，同時會讓家長透過分組活動親身體驗作為義工的感受，從而讓家長對義工工作有更深了解。

上年度畢業禮之DVD由即日起至31/10/2018可到本校一座幼稚園領取。

香港天文台在2018年09月12日12時25分發出之天氣報告
香港天文台發出最新熱帶氣旋警報
三號強風信號， 在下午12時20分發出。
預料本港平均風速每小時41至62公里。
在正午12時，熱帶風暴百里嘉集結在香港之東南偏南約170公里，即在北緯20.9度，東經114.8度附近，預料向西移動，時速約18公里，大至移向廣東西部沿岸。
過去數小時，本港風力正逐漸增強。按照現時預測路徑，百里嘉會在今日下午於香港以南約100公里以外掠過，除非百里嘉進一步移向珠三角地區或顯著增強，改發八號烈風或暴風信號的機會較低。

Tropical Cyclone Warning Bulletin
Here is the latest Tropical Cyclone Warning Bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
The Strong Wind Signal, No. 3 was issued at 12:20 p.m.
This means that winds with mean speeds of 41 to 62 kilometres per hour are expected.
At noon, Tropical Storm Barijat was estimated to be about 170 kilometres south-southeast of Hong Kong (near 20.9 degrees north 114.8 degrees east) and is forecast to move west at about 18 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the coast of western Guangdong.
In the past few hours, local winds are strengthening gradually. According to the present forecast track, Barijat will skirt more than 100 kilometres to the south of Hong Kong this afternoon. Unless Barijat moves further close to the Pearl River Estuary or intensifies significantly, the chance of issuing the Gale or Storm Wind Signal, No. 8 will be relatively low.

特別通告 Special Announcements

由於香港天文台預料在上午１１時至下午１時改發三號熱帶氣旋警告信號，幼稚園、肢體傷殘兒童學校及智障兒童學校今日停課。但上述學校須保持校舍開放，同時實施應變措施，照顧已返抵學校的學生，並在安全的情況下，方可安排學生返家。就前述目的，教育局常任秘書長所授權人士已根據《教育條例》(第279章)第83(6)(a)(ii)條的規定，向基於運作需要或安全理由須在停課期間進入或逗留在校舍的教職員及學生發出書面准許。
As the Hong Kong Observatory expects that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal no. 3 is to be issued between 11am and 1pm, classes of kindergartens, schools for children with physical disability and schools for children with intellectual disability are suspended today. These schools, however, should keep their premises open and implement contingency measures to look after arriving students. They should ensure that conditions are safe before allowing students to return home. For the foregoing purposes, the delegated authority of the Permanent Secretary for Education has given a written permission under section 83(6)(a)(ii) of the Education Ordinance (Cap. 279) to those school staff and students who need to enter or remain in the school premises during the period of suspension due to operational need or safety reason.
