Warmest congratulations to the Hong Kong Baptist University Women’s volleyball team on successfully defending their title in the "2025-2026 Hong Kong University Sports Federation Women's Volleyball Competition"!
The Women’s University Volleyball Final was held on March 21, 2026.
HKBU topped their group to advance in dominant fashion, and in the semifinal against The Education University of Hong Kong they won 3–1 (25–17, 26–24, 20–25, 31–29), reaching the final for the third consecutive year.
In the final against The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKBU fell behind by two sets amid a higher error count (22–25, 22–25), but with firm resolve and determination they took the next two sets (25–21, 25–22) to force a decider. In a white‑hot, back‑and‑forth fifth set, after fending off multiple PolyU match points, HKBU took two points in a row to win 22–20, pulling off a dramatic comeback and capturing the USFHK champion for the second year in a row.
Even when trailing by two sets, HKBU withstood the pressure and turned the match around, fully demonstrating each player’s hunger for victory and indomitable spirit. We believe they put in a great deal of work behind the scenes, and it is truly moving to see their efforts bear fruit.
Our heartfelt thanks to the players and coaching staffs of both teams for a gripping showdown, and to the spectators who came to support. We wish the HKBU women’s volleyball team continued success next year and a successful title defense.
