在昨日發生的大埔宏福苑大火中，居於宏盛閣的羅雅穎校友（2001年小學部、2006年中學部）、其父羅兆麟先生（家長教師會前任主席）與母親羅太至今仍然失去聯絡。如有任何人士得悉任何情況，懇請WhatsApp聯絡張曉琳校友或周偉文校友。

譚建平神父 (Fr. Peyton) 剛在美國安息主懷，勞工堂將在5月16日(星期五)晚上8時1樓禮堂，為他安排一台追思彌撒。

5月17日（今週六）在母校（中學部）禮堂舉行的「建校先賢追思彌撒」，也讓校友們一同追思譚神父。譚神父歷任瑪小第二任校監，及校董多年，他的辭世叫人不捨。

who passed away this evening, May 9, 2025, in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Maryknoll, New York. Fr. Peyton was 93 years old and a Maryknoll priest for 67 years.

Funeral Arrangements are pending.

Fr Peyton was a supervisor and board member of the secondary too. He was a staunch supporter of the schools’ work and development. We will offer him special prayers in our May 17 Founders Mass

【瑪利諾神父交還母校辦學權予天主教香港教區】

母校辦學團體「美國天主教傳教會（瑪利諾神父）」聯同「天主教香港教區」及母校法團校董會宣佈，鑑於瑪利諾神父會士人數漸減及年事日高，修會在港已無足夠人力兼顧辦學事宜。經修會總部議會議決、總會長批准，並得香港教區同意及完成所需程序後，母校中學及小學部，以及其餘兩所學校的辦學權將交還香港教區，由2023年9月1日起生效。

在交還辦學權後，母校與其他兩校的校名、校訓、校歌、辦學宗旨等辦學要義將維持不變，以繼續承傳修會藉福音精神在香港辦學的使命。校友會謹代表一眾校友，感謝瑪利諾神父與一眾建校先賢創立母校、樹德立人之恩；並祝願母校未來在香港教區與法團校董會帶領下，繼續秉承修會的辦學使命，把校訓「真理忠貞」世代相傳。

【母校法團校董會任命新校長】

母校於今日公布，何力生校長將於本學年後屆齡退休。法團校董會經遴選及面試，並獲得教育局同意後，通過任命宋凱恩為瑪利諾神父教會學校校長，由2023年9月1日起生效。

本會謹代表一眾校友，感謝何校長過去十年的付出，並歡迎宋校長加入瑪記大家庭。

本校建校先賢篳路藍縷，以啟山林，方能創立本校。創校校監賴存忠神父（Fr. Peter A. Reilly, MM）於上世紀五十年代艱苦創建本校中小學，為追念賴神父及其後的建校先賢，如繼任校監江天文神父（Fr. John E. Geitner, MM）、創校校長唐余湘畹女士、繼任校長梁經之先生、何雅言先生等先輩，學校定於每年母親節後首個星期六舉行「建校先賢追思彌撒」。

Fr. Peter A. Reilly, MM established Maryknoll Fathers’ School (Primary & Secondary Sections) in 1957 amidst very difficult times. As remembrance to Fr. Reilly, founder and first supervisor, and his successor, Fr. John E. Geitner, MM; Mrs. Tong Yu Sheung Woon, the first principal and her successors Mr. Leung King Chee, Leo, Mr. Ho Nga Yen and other founding members of the faculty; the schools dedicate the first Saturday after each year’s Mother’s Day to commemorate their founders with a memorial mass.

由於受到疫情影響，原定於二月舉行的畢業彌撒未能如期舉行，我們藉此機會同時為我們的畢業生舉行畢業彌撒。此外，彌撒開始前將舉行壁畫祝聖儀式，以誌學校 65 週年連串慶祝活動的開始。

For this year, as we were unable to celebrate graduation mass for F.6 students in February due to COVID restrictions, we are using the occasion to pray for our new graduates as well. Also, to mark the beginning of the schools’ 65th anniversary, a wall mural will be blessed in the event.

【訃告：母校榮休游聲洛老師辭世】

母校中文科榮休游聲洛老師慟於2021年11月2日辭世，享嵩壽102歲。我們感謝游老師過去的春風化雨、樹德立人之恩，讓我們為他禱告，祈求他得享安息。
