🏫 賽馬會平行心間(校園) -「校長分享會」

本校作為「賽馬會平行心間計劃（校園版）」先導學校，獲邀出席由香港心聆（Mind HK）主辦的「校長分享會」🌟

活動由教育局副秘書長劉穎賢博士，以及香港賽馬會慈善事務部主管（教育；青年）應鳳秀女士致歡迎辭揭開序幕。其後，本校師生團隊參與由香港大學社會科學學院名譽教授及教育心理學家林瑞芳教授主持的「爐邊對談」，與各界人士深入交流，分享推動學生參與建構健康校園的寶貴經驗🤝🌱

在體驗環節中，本校學生團隊帶領「心情飲品」及「隨手畫」兩項身心健康活動示範。透過選擇反映心情的飲品及閉眼繪畫，讓與會者放鬆身心並帶出自我覺察的重要性，讓大家親身體驗學生主導的校園實踐🥤🎨

🏫 JC LevelMind (Schools) - Principal Sharing Session

As a pioneer school of the ”JC LevelMind (Schools)“ project, our school was invited to attend the Principal Sharing Session hosted by Mind HK. 🌟

The event kicked off with welcome remarks by Dr. Verena Lau Wing-yin, Deputy Secretary for Education, and Ms. Winnie Ying, Head of Charities (Education and Youth) at The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Following this, our team of teachers and students participated in a ”Fireside Chat“ hosted by Professor Lam Shui-fong, Honorary Professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences at HKU and Educational Psychologist, sharing our valuable experience in promoting student participation to build a healthy campus and fostering in-depth exchanges. 🤝🌱

During the experiential session, our student team led two mental health activity demonstrations: ”Mood Drinks“ and ”Blind Drawing.“ By guiding guests to choose drinks reflecting their current moods and drawing with their eyes closed, the activities helped attendees relax and highlighted the importance of self-awareness, allowing them to experience student-led campus practices firsthand. 🥤🎨

本校足球隊成員早前獲選為「The Lit Starters」學生大使 ，參與「香港足球盛會2026」⚽️🌟。

活動期間，學生代表於啟德體育園主場館協助賽事前置工作，包括參與暖場表演及於賽前展示中圈橫幅，從中認識到大型體育賽事的運作流程 🏟️📋。

此外，學生亦參與了由英超球會曼城（Manchester City）主辦的足球訓練日（Football Clinic）🏃‍♂️。透過專業教練團隊的指導，學生在個人足球技術及團隊戰術意識方面均得到提升 📈🧠。

感謝主辦單位 TEG Sport 提供是次學習與實踐的機會 🙏。期望學生能總結參與大型體育盛事的經驗，並將其應用於日後的恆常訓練與賽事中，持續追求卓越 💪🏆。

Members of our school’s football team were recently selected as “The Lit Starters” Student Ambassadors for the “Hong Kong Football Event 2026” ⚽️🌟.

During the event, our student representatives visited the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium to assist with pre-match preparations. Their duties included participating in the pre-match performances and displaying the centre circle banner, allowing them to gain practical insights into the operational procedures of a large-scale sports event 🏟️📋.

Furthermore, the students participated in a Football Clinic hosted by the English Premier League club, Manchester City 🏃‍♂️. Under the systematic guidance of the professional coaching team, our students achieved significant improvements in both their individual football skills and team tactical awareness 📈🧠.

We would like to express our gratitude to the organiser, TEG Sport, for providing this valuable opportunity for learning and practical experience 🙏. We hope that the students will consolidate their experience from this major sports event and apply it to their regular training and future matches, continuing their pursuit of excellence 💪🏆.

本校陳卓軒同學成功從全港眾多申請者中脫穎而出，參與由香港中華總商會與康樂及文化事務署合辦的「少年太空人體驗營2026」，成為30名「少年太空人」之一🛰️。活動出發儀式獲政務司司長陳國基先生、香港太空館館長蘇柱榮博士等多位嘉賓親臨主禮，共同見證這重要時刻 🤝🏻。

陳同學於活動期間前往北京、酒泉及西安等地，參與為期九天的深度航天學習之旅 🚀

🌟行程亮點：

👨‍🚀體驗航天訓練： 參觀「中國航天員科研訓練中心」及「酒泉衞星發射中心」，親自體驗航天醫學項目與訓練。

⚙️ 首訪核心基地： 首次參觀「航天推進技術研究院」，深入了解火箭發動機技術。

🌌前沿天文觀測： 考察「國家天文台興隆觀測站」，近距離觀摩大型光學望遠鏡。

💬 專家深度交流： 與國家航天專家及航天員面對面會談。

Our student, Chan Cheuk Hin, successfully stood out from numerous applicants across Hong Kong to participate in the “Young Astronaut Training Camp 2026”, co-organized by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, becoming one of the 30 “Young Astronauts” 🛰️. The departure ceremony was officiated by distinguished guests, including the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Chan Kwok-ki, and the Curator of the Hong Kong Space Museum, Dr. So Chu-wing, who were present to jointly witness this momentous occasion 🤝🏻.

During the program, Cheuk Hin traveled to Beijing, Jiuquan, Xi’an, and other locations for a nine-day in-depth aerospace study tour 🚀.

🌟 Program Highlights:

👨‍🚀 Experiencing Astronaut Training: Visited the “China Astronaut Research and Training Center” and the “Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center” to gain hands-on experience with aerospace medical programs and training.

⚙️ First Visit to Core Bases: Visited the “Academy of Aerospace Propulsion Technology” for the first time to gain an in-depth understanding of rocket engine technology.

🌌 Cutting-edge Astronomical Observation: Toured the “Xinglong Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatories” for a close-up look at large optical telescopes.

💬 In-depth Exchanges with Experts: Engaged in face-to-face discussions with national aerospace experts and astronauts.

Congratulations to Cheuk Hin on the successful completion of this aerospace study tour. We hope that he and his fellow students at Wu Chung will continue to nurture their passion for science and technology, and keep exploring new frontiers.

✈️ 本校「Y-Dragon」成員參加九龍城青年發展網絡主辦的哈薩克斯坦「一帶一路」考察團，赴中亞深度交流。

同學參觀了哈薩克傳統文化基地、潘菲洛夫28勇士紀念公園、中央國家博物館及升天大教堂，認識歷史與宗教；並參與毛氈工作坊，體驗獵鷹與草原體育🦅。

團隊亦到訪中資謝列克風電站了解新能源；遊覽恰倫大峽谷與科爾賽湖欣賞自然地貌；其後乘纜車往麥迪奧滑雪場及瓊布拉克雪山，飽覽阿拉木圖山景與生活面貌🏔️。

行程還包括拜訪駐阿拉木圖總領事館與青年外交官交流，並到 Narxoz University 認識大學生活。團員其後乘地鐵遊走市區，觀察交通網絡🚇。

🌍 此行加深了同學對哈薩克斯坦及「一帶一路」的認識，拓闊國際視野。本校衷心感謝「九龍城青年發展網絡」的悉心安排🙏，締造難能可貴的學習與交流體驗🌟。

Kazakhstan “Belt and Road” Study Tour

✈️ Our “Y-Dragon” members joined the Kazakhstan “Belt and Road” Study Tour organized by the Kowloon City Youth Development Network, traveling to Central Asia for in-depth exchange.

Students visited the Kazakh Traditional Culture Base, Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, Central State Museum, and Ascension Cathedral to explore local history and religion. They also joined a felt workshop and experienced traditional falconry and steppe sports🦅.

Additionally, the group visited the Chinese-funded Shelek Wind Farm to learn about new energy, and toured Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lakes’ natural landscapes. They then took a cable car to Medeu Ski Resort and Shymbulak snow mountains, enjoying Almaty’s unique mountain views and daily life🏔️.

The trip included visiting the Consulate General in Almaty to converse with young diplomats, and touring Narxoz University to experience university life. Later, members took the subway to observe the city’s transport network🚇.

🌍 This journey deepened students’ understanding of Kazakhstan and the “Belt and Road” initiative, broadening their global horizons. We sincerely thank the Kowloon City Youth Development Network for their meticulous arrangements🙏, providing an invaluable learning and cultural exchange experience🌟.

獎項由教育局首席教育主任（創新科技教育及質素保證）林威廉博士頒發，肯定了蕭老師在運用生成式人工智能優化教學及提升學生學習成效上的卓越表現。

Our teacher, Mr. Siu Kwan Lam, has been awarded the “Best Teacher Award” in the “Google Education empower with Gemini AI (GEGA)” program for his innovative teaching scheme integrating Gemini AI.

The award was presented by Dr. LAM Wai Lim, Principal Education Officer (Innovation Technology Education and Quality Assurance) of the Education Bureau, recognizing Mr. Siu’s outstanding performance in utilizing generative AI to optimize teaching and enhance learning effectiveness.

To enrich student learning, the Extra-Curricular Activities Committee and Visual Arts Department arranged a Secondary 2 study visit to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum🏛️ for the “Meeting Mona Lisa • The Renaissance Rediscovered” exhibition🖼️.

🏺Through Renaissance masterworks and interactive media, students enhanced their art appreciation in three key areas:

Aesthetic Refinement💡: Exploring Mona Lisa’s context to deepen understanding of classical techniques.

Historical Vision📜: Analyzing the connection between art and society, and its impact on modern culture.

Practical Application💭: Applying visual arts theories to build critical thinking through direct observation.

We are pleased to share that our student, Lee Ka Chun, has successfully completed the Youth Advisory Committee Exchange Trip in Melbourne, Australia! 🇦🇺✈️

During this exchange, Ka Chun had the opportunity to study Australia’s youth mental health landscape 🧠 by visiting leading institutions and advocacy groups, including the University of Melbourne, Orygen, Satellite Foundation, Headspace, and Batyr. 🏫

The trip focused on practical approaches to mental health support. Key takeaways from the exchange included: 💡
🌱 Examining early intervention frameworks and community support models.
🗣️ Participating in safe storytelling and peer-to-peer communication training.
🤝 Understanding how cultural competence and lived experiences are integrated into mental health care.
🎨 Exploring creative methods to engage young people and reduce stigma.

Ka Chun is now looking forward to applying these insights and frameworks to help foster a better youth mental health environment here in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰✨
