🎉 Huge congrats to Prof. Ross MURCH and his international team for winning the 2026 IEEE Communications Society Heinrich Hertz Award for Best Communications Letter! 🏆

Their paper, “Channel Estimation for FAS-Assisted Multiuser mmWave Systems” (IEEE Communications Letters, Mar 2024), was honored for opening new research directions in communications engineering.

Co-authors include researchers from UCL, FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, Xidian University, Yonsei University, Southeast University, and Kuang-Chi Science Ltd, including ECE alumnus Prof. WONG Kai-Kit.

The award will be presented at IEEE GLOBECOM 2026 in Macau (7–11 Dec 2026). 🌏📡
