In our Shapes-themed Playgroup class, toddlers explored the circle through a variety of fun and interactive activities.

Teachers introduced the circle shape using picture cards and everyday objects, helping children observe and recognise circles around them. Toddlers explored circular items such as balls, rings, and wheels, connecting the concept of shapes with real-life experiences.

Through hands-on activities like ring tossing, matching circle cards, rolling balls, and placing objects onto circle pictures, children learned to identify and explore the shape in a playful way. These activities also supported the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.

Children also participated in creative art activities, using circular tools and materials to stamp and create circle patterns. Through play, movement, and exploration, toddlers gradually developed their understanding of shapes while enjoying the learning process.
